Before we go

chapter five

"wow, i didn't think he would do that. considering you and lou were so close." liam says and i nod with tears slipping down my cheeks.

"i have to talk to him tomorrow. i have to tell him that i saw you guys, and that i will see more of you. because im not going through that again." i say and they smile.

"we better be going. Louis and Eleanor should be back from the club at any moment." harry says everyone shuttering as he says eleanors name.

"what do you not like her?" i ask confused and they all shake their heads.

"shes cheating on him and we know it but hes so smitten with her that he wouldn't believe us even if we tried." zayn says and nod sadly. that could have been me, i could have been the one that's hes so smitten with, but i know i wouldn't cheat because i love him too much. "we know you still love him. we miss the old lou. he was so energetic and so happy then you left and everything turned fake and now hes more than serious because of Eleanor. its not right, we miss you lex. we really do." Zayn says. I look to the ground sadly and they all bring me into a group hug before they leave.

I watch them walk out and go into my room. My uncle isn't gonna like the fact that I am talking to the boys again. But he's going to have to get over it. I am not leaving them again. I missed them and it's been 3 year too long. I noticed a piece of paper on the fridge and saw that it had 5 phone numbers on it. Liam must of put it there when he went to the bathroom. It also had a little note at the end. I didn't want to read it but I did anyways

'Lex,

I put Louis' number on here as well. Call him when your ready. I know he would love to talk to you. He misses you more than you think he does. I'll talk to you about it more another time in person.

It said and I took a deep breath. I put all their numbers into my phone and went up to my room. I lay down and look up at the ceiling. I keep thinking of Louis and what Liam meant. I really wanted to know so I decided that I was gonna find out.

'I know you like just left but could you meet me at the café on the corner of cobblestone in 20 minutes? I have more than a lot of questions that should be asked in person.' I text him and almost instantly got one back.

'Sure Hun. Is it paparazzi free though?'

'Its almost burin, you won't have to worry about anything just make sure that you aren't followed. This is gonna stay between us.'

After I sent the text I changed from my dress and into a pair of skinny jeans and a over sized jumper. I take my make up off and put a little eyeliner and mascara on and then put m hair up into a messy bun. I look at the time and I have 15 minutes left and it will take about 10 minutes to walk there so I set out to the café. I get there with 3 minutes until the time I was supposed to meet him and I greet the owner.

"Hey Janet, how are you?" I ask. And sit down in the corner booth as always.

"I'm good dear, the usual, cup of tea with 3 spoons of honey and a pinch of sugar?" She asks and I nod.

"I actually have someone else coming as well, could I have another cup but plain since I don't know how he likes it?" I ask and she nods smiling. As she leaves to go make the tea Liam walks through the door and I smile at him. He smiles back and sits down across from me. I cross my legs over on the chair.

"So what did you want to ask me?" He asks and I take a deep breath.

"I got you note on the fridge and after reading it and laying my bed I couldn't stop thinking about what you said. What did you say that he misses me more than I think he does? He seems pretty happy with Eleanor. He doesn't seem to even think about me anymore now that she's in his life."
