Before we go

chapter 2

"lou." i say as i walk off the stage after my x-factor audition. i made it. and im going to boot camp. i run into my boyfriends arms and he gives me a hug like i did when he made it. we walk out of the building hand and hand and go home. we get there and don't even bother ot unpack because bootcamp will be coming soon. i plop onto my bed and he smiles at me.

"what?" i ask confused.

"i told you you would make it." he said and i laugh rolling my eyes. i stare out the window and at the stars. Louis lays down next to me and looks up too. "why do you love the stars so much?" he asks and i look over at him.

"my mom and i would look at them when i was little. it reminds me that where ever we are the person we love will be looking at the same stars even if they on opposite sides of the world. and they remind me of your eyes and how they sparkle." i say and he smiles. i peck him on the lips and turn back to the stars. i smile and my eyes slowly start to close. soon im out like a light.

-a week later-

today we are off to boot camp. im really nervous. ive never really sang much like this except for my audition but this will make or truly break me. i walk out to the car and sit next to Louis in the back seat. him mom in the drivers seat and lottie in the passenger. i wave to the other 3 girls and so does Louis.

we make it to the hotel we'll be staying at on about 4 hours. we have to go to the theater as soon as we get there though. we head over there by walking since its only 4 blocks away and walk in. as we walk through the corridors we see many other people. i look over at Louis with wide eyes, his eyes mirroring mine. we see a group of guys sitting around not bothered with each other and walk over. "hi im lexy and this is Louis. who are you guys?" i ask and they look over at me.

"harry"

"niall"

"liam"

"zayn"

they all reply. Louis takes my hand and we sit down. we all start to talk and soon they start talking about footbul. i start humming my favorite song by the fray. Louis notices and we start to sing it together. the boys join in and we all sound amazing together. i smile then we get called to the stage. we get our instructions then go back to the hotel. i can tell this is going to be a long 2 weeks at boot camp.
