chapter eleven

this is going to be a short chapter because I really want to work on my other book. but I really appreciate that you all are reading this book, even though there is like 20 at a time it don't care. It means the world. well let me get to it so im not boring you.

Louis POV

"lexy baby wake up please." I whisper to my girlfriend. we took her back to my room instead of the hospital because I knew what was going on.

"lou will you tell us why we aren't at a hospital right now?" liam and zayn ask at the same time.

"when we were little lexy fell. she hit her head pretty hard and she went into a 6 month coma. I didn't know anything but that my best friend was in the hospital because she was asleep and wasn't waking up. her mom and dad decided to pull the plug right as she woke up. a week after she woke up she got to go home and she started having flashbacks, and they all came at once. she passed out and she went back to the hospital. she was fine but the doctor explained that if there was too much running through her mind at once she would pass out again. we were talking and I saw in her eyes that she had many things running throughout her mind and I knew she was going to pass out. I know what to do when this happens. I need to keep a cold cloth on her forehead and I have to keep her laying down. when she wakes up I have to make sure she drinks a lot and that she doesn't make sudden movements." I tell them without taking my eyes off lexy.

I only got up to refresh the cloth on her head and then I sit back down. I start to close my eyes but she starts to wake up so I stay wide awake. she tries to sit up but I hold her down. "don't make any sudden movement remember?" I say and she stays put. I give her the cup and help her sit up slowly. after about 2 hours of drinking water and slowly moving around the room shes okay again. "can I see them? please?" I ask quietly. she sighs and nods. I move closer to her and I look up at her shes almost in tears so I unwrap her wrist quickly. I look down at them and I start to tear up. I cant help but feeling its my fault. I brought her to this, how could I live with myself?

"its not your fault don't beat yourself up. I was having flashbacks about my father and all the thing the kids at school said, the way they looked at me with disgust and hatred because I had you as a best friend and that you wouldn't be theirs. they all hated me because I had the best; best friend ever. I started then. then it continued until we graduated. then after the X-Factor, losing you made my habit break out again, when the boys found me and was hurt by Eleanor and then told you about my attempt I lost it and had to do it again. james took my blade before the boys found me, which was 3 days after. then I had the memories today and I hated myself even more. I feel like ive held you back from living your dreams. from singing and I feel like that because you tried to give up your career for me. you were risking your career for me. i feel terrible lou, its my fault you and el broke up, its my fault that you didn't know about simon because i didn't tell you, i should have known, i really should have and i should have never went with you. you wouldn't be here right now about to cry because i cut." she says and starts to bawl.

after shes done i look over at her and.....
