Sierra's POV
Nash and I hung out all night, it was really fun. We built a fort and just talked for a while. He says he doesn't like Natalie but I'm not sure if I believe him. He asked me about Ryan and I felt uncomfortable telling him at first. I mean, Hayes said they hate each other... But I finally got the courage to talk about it and now I'm glad I did, because now I realize the feelings I have. And I also realize that I can trust Nash, which makes me really happy, because I could always use another friend.
Nash left around 9:30, so I cleaned up the mess we made and went to bed. I had a nice, peaceful sleep.
The next morning I did the usual getting ready and stuff. I got to school and went to first period, which I have with Kelly. Speaking of Kelly I need to talk to her about yesterday. I walk in and look around for her. She sees me and her face brightens. I take my seat next to her.
"Hey, so what was that about yesterday? I mean, with Ryan. You practically making me hang out with him." I ask suspiciously. Her eyes widen and her jaw drops.
"The real question is why did I have to force you?" she asks grabbing my shoulders and shaking them. I chuckle.
"I don't get what you mean?"
"Sierra! Ryan is so freaking hot! Why else?" She replies laughing.
"That's it?! Goodness..." I chuckle at her again.
"Sierra! He's the basically the hottest guy at school, he's a year older than us, AAANNNDDD HE'S SINGLE" she whisper yells at me so no one else can hear.
"Well, I just got out of a relationship. I'm not necessarily looking for a new one right now"
"You're crazy"
"No, you're crazy" I smile at her.
"So how was it anyway?" She asks quietly while the teacher talks.
"It was fine. We walked, we talked, he dropped me off at home"
"What? Didn't even get a number?" She smirks at me. I laugh.
"I got one the last time he walked me home" I smirk at her. Her eyes go wide again.
"There have been other times?!" She whisper yells yet again.
"Just one other time"
"I don't see how you're not freaking out about this" she stares at me.
"I don't see why you are" the truth is, at first I mentally freaked out because of how cute Ryan was. But, now that I've talked to him he's just a normal guy. He's actually a really cool guy... I'm cut off by the bell ringing. I gather my things and walk to my next class.
I'm walking in the hallway when I'm shoved against a locker. I wince in pain, "What the heck was that for?" I ask, pretty pissed. I look up and see a girl. She's about my height, has dark brown hair with blonde (noticeably fake might I add) highlights, and a fairly large amount of makeup on her face. She is wearing tight clothing too. She glares at me.
"Stay away from Ryan, bitch" she spat at me. I just roll my eyes and walk away. I was never one to pick a fight. And I definitely wasn't going to start the new move with one.
I got to my next class and take my seat. I sit next to Nash, but he's having a conversation with someone else. I realize that a part of my shoulder still hurts. It must be from where the lock part of the locker hit me. I shake it off and pay attention to the teacher.
In the middle of class, a small folded up piece of paper lands on my desk. I open it and read:
Let me walk you home from school again?
