Cameron's POV (well this is new...)
I've barely talked to Nash today, but I can practically feel the tension in the air. I don't know what's up with him, but I'm going to find out. Or I could wait for Sierra to come back. She just told me she was going to go check on him and now she's been gone for over a half hour. I decide to text her.
TO: Sierra
How is everything going?
FROM: Sierra
Fine(:
TO: Sierra
Have you told him yet?
FROM: Sierra
No! I have to wait for a good time to(:
TO: Sierra
Alright babe, whatever you say ;)
FROM: Sierra
Shut up :P
I chuckle and put my phone down. I really like Sierra. Not that way though. I mean, I really care about her but more like a best friend or sister. We've grown really close over these few days that she's spent here.
But, now I can't wait for her to tell Nash. I know that they like eachother, one of them just has to make a move. And I'm definitely not going to get in the way of any of this.
Nash's POV
Everything with Sierra was going really good, until she got a text. At first I didn't care, but I looked over her shoulder and saw it was Cameron. He asked her if she has told me yet... I'm guessing if she's told me that they're a thing? I'm not sure.
My suspicions are confirmed when he calls her "babe" in another text. Great.
When she stops texting him I act like I didn't see anything. I'm really not in the mood to talk about this with her right now, the whole idea still needs to sink in for me.
"Naaaash" Sierra says in a sing-song tone while waving a hand in front of my face. "You just zoned out for a good three minutes" she says looking concerned, and as adorable as ever.
"Sorry, I was just thinking" I tell her.
"About what?" she questions perking up a bit.
"Nothing" I mumble and avoid eye contact.
"Okay" she says disappointedly. "I better go, it's getting late and you guys have your first day of shows tomorrow" she says and gets up from her seated position on my bed.
"I'll walk you to your room" I say also getting off the bed.
"You know my room is literally right across the hallway" she says raising an eyebrow.
I chuckle, "I know. I'm just trying to be nice" she giggles and we both walk out the door. We take a few steps and we're to her door.
She looks up at me, "Hey Nash?"
"Yeah?" I ask looking down at her.
"I just want to apologize" she states looking at the ground.
I furrow my eyebrows, "For what?"
"Well you know when I first moved here? Well I know that I wasn't very subtle about not liking you, and I feel really bad. I mean, you're such an amazing person and I didn't even give you the time of day, even when you tried to be nice. And I'm sorry" she says and doesn't look into my eyes until she finishes.
"Sierra" I sigh. "I'm not mad about that anymore. I mean, yeah I was confused as heck at first as to why you wouldn't talk to me. But hey,
look at us now" I say and sling my arm around her shoulder playfully.
She let's a small smile sit across her face and she looks up at me. We're just inches apart. We're both searching each other's eyes, but I'm surprised when her eyes flick down to my lips, but quickly shoot back to my eyes. I look down at her lips. She has no idea how frickin much I want to kiss her right now, but her and Cameron... Even though he betrayed me as a friend, I'm not going to do the same.
I remove my arm from around her and clear my throat awkwardly. She takes a step back and looks at the ground putting a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Uh... g-goodnight, Sierra" I stutter awkwardly.
She doesn't look at me just mumbles a quick "yeah" and walks into her room as do I.
Sierra's POV
He was going to kiss me.
I was going to kiss him.
We were about to kiss.
We almost kissed.
But he pulled away.
He didn't kiss me.
Why?
