Kai x Clay Ninjago/Nexo Knights (Phoenixshipping)

First day in Knighton (For Kai)

Kai's pov
I wake up and saw I'm sleeping on a couch... I think I passed out... what did I do last night?
**Flash back**
Aaron: Woohoo! Let's party!!
Clay: no
Aaron: why?
Clay: we don't have the time
Aaron: we have enough and we need to celebrate because the two of you didn't die!
Clay: last time we celebrated for a reason like that and you end up getting us all drunk... everyone except me but it was hard cleaning up your mess
**Flashback over**
We did party though it was fun. I get up and look around "yup still here" I find a clock, "looks like I woke up an hour earlier than the knights" I walk through the fortrex I think that's what they called it... I find Clay's room and slowly go in trying not to wake up anyone, I close the door and flinch when I heard his alarm clock. He wakes up and turns it off "Welp here goes another morning" he says, then he sees me "What are you doing in here?" I was silent then I slowly walked out of his room like nothing happened, one hour later I sat silently at the couch. Few minutes later Clay sat beside me and quietly asked "What were yoy doing in my room this morning?" I pause for a moment then said "Just checking on you" I wait for a response "That's nice that you worry and care about me but it's just weird when you enter a person's room while they're sleeping" I frown for a moment but then returned to a smile "Ok sorry Clay my bae" I wrap an arm around him and kiss his cheek then he blushes and tries to push me away "You only get one reward remember? That was yesterday" I chuckle "C'mon Clay quit trying to play hard to get" I say, he tries to not get close to my face "Sorry for making you uncomfortable" I say to him, he smiles, I like seeing that innocent smile "When are you two gonna get married and get pregnant?" I hear Lance ask "Quiet Lance!" Says Clay, I see Jestro leave the room, guess he knew they were gonna fight, before the arguement started I picked up Clay and held him bridal style "w-wha?" He says, then Lance laughs "Don't ask so surprised princess!" Clay blushes "Shut up!" I kiss his cheek "C'mon don't be like that, that frown doesn't look right on your face" I say to him, he looks away avoiding my face "I already told you I'm not in love with you Kai, we're both males it's improper and wrong" he says "Then maybe I should leave, I think I overwelcomed my stay" I say, I still have to check on my friends "No!" Shouts Clay then he quickly covers his mouth "oh~ I knew it, the princess does love the prince" Clay blushes "I just think it's best you stay here for a little bit because Lloyd is crazy" that's true "I can just put a restraining order on him" he smiles "Ok, and it's best you go, your friends must be worried sick about you" I nod, my brothers get very worried about each other "Hey Clay, why did run up to me and hug me when you visited yesterday?" He blushes and looks away "I honestly don't know" I smirk "or maybe you are in love with me" he frowns "Kai quit being a jerk" I stop and put him down "ok ok sorry Clay" he smiles again "want a tour of Knighton? I've seen Ninjago so I'm sure you'd love to see Knighton" I mess up his hair again "sure lets go!" He pulls my hand away "ok can you please stop doing that?" He covers up his head with his helmet "Sure ok, and before we leave... is Lance always a jerk?" I ask "what else can you expect from a spoiled brat?" Clay replies, we both leave and visit a few villages, it's like a retro renassiance fair, it's weird for me for some reason to see every women wear a dress instead of something more comfortable and protective, later after a few towns he took me to a castle and tells me about his training to be a knight, after a while we take a walk down the road "Kai?" Clay says to me, we both stop "Yes Clay?" I say "I do l-love... you I'm just worried about what other people will think of me, this isn't Ninjago you know?" I sigh "yes I know and that also means we can't be togethor. I have Ninjago, you have Knighton, but who says Love can't cross realms?" I say, He smiles his innocent smile again "maybe we can be togethor but in secret then later we'll decide wether to tell the truth and where to go or just keep it secret until it's time" I smile as we both hold hands "ok Clay, is it ok if I kiss you now?" I ask "Sure" he says, then he kisses me, and I kiss back "I love you Clay" I say to him "I love you too Kai" heh who would've thought a cool ninja and a cute knight would end up togethor? We both walk back to the fortrex and hope no one was there waiting to tease us about taking a walk togethor alone, "I need to go train, I'll see you later Kai" he lets go off my hand and walks off, I smile and go to that room I slept in and saw Jestro with Macy, "I have something to confess M-Macy" I hear him say "yeah what is it?" I shouldn't be eavesdropping "I l-like Clay but he likes Kai, I just wish I would've told him earlier so he wouldn't want to go back and let all this happen" Macy sighs "so you regret doing Clay's request and open the portal? Well we can't control how people feel, what if he didn't feel the same?" Jestro frowns "yeah real helpful... at least he's happy with Kai, if he's happy I'm happy but I'm upset with myself for being a coward" Macy comforts him "Hey Jestro it's ok, everyone always has trouble with admitting their feelings" Jestro smiles slightly, wait... they know we're dating? "Thanks, maybe I'll tell him later" he gets up and leave, before I could show myself Aaron came in "do you think they're gonna get mad if they know I spied on them and told you their secret?" He asks Macy "not if they know" she says, I go up to them. Before I could say anything, Clay stormed in "You told them?!" Aaron laughed "I'm sorry I had to!!" Clay frowned "why did you have to tell Lance out of all people though?!" I here Lance coming in "Kai and Clay sitting in a tree!" Then Aaron joined in "K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!" Clay blushed red "Quit acting like kids!" And before Clay could give a long lecture and pull him towards me and kiss him deeply, he break the kiss "K-Kai leave me alone, I'm not in the mood right now, maybe later" then he walks off "ooooooooh" I hear both Aaron and Lance say "Shut up" I tell them "Please Just shut up"
