Kai x Clay Ninjago/Nexo Knights (Phoenixshipping)

First meeting/A new world

Narrator pov
Right now the Nexo Knights battle with Jestro's army, thing aren't going well for the knights, especially Clay.

Clay's pov
I continue to fight off the monsters attacking the village, I was losing but thank Merlok that my team is actually trying today "HAHAHA! You'll never stop me now Nexo Knights!" I hear Jestro yell through the noise, I was thrown to the floor in front of Jestro, I hear the book of monsters say "Finish him" Jestro froze for a bit, then opens the book to a certain page, I see my friends running towards me, Jestro starts saying a spell as he waves his staff over the book, and then suddenly... A strange, blue, portal opens in front of me "It's t-the end of the l-line C-c-Clay!" Jestro says to me... he's stammering... doesn't Jestro wants this? The end of the line?

Jestro's pov
I can't bring myself to get rid of Clay, I should spare him, but I'll be thought of weak, a joke, well I've gotten this far, might as well continue, "G-get rid of him... n-now!" My voice trembles... this is the end... my friend... I'm sorry...

Clay's pov
I see my friends struggle trying to save me and push away the monsters, I hear Jestro say "G-get rid of him... n-now!" Next I find myself thrown into the portal looking back at were I was thrown, seeing the entrance close, then I looked up and saw an exit maybe? All it looked like was another portal but the scene looked different, before I could see clearly, I went right through it then landed on the grass, the place was blurry but I could faintly see two figures coming towards me, slowly I passed out.

Lloyd's pov
Oh gosh! Is he ok?! I run over to the unconcious person on the grass, while Kai follows me "Well that's something you don't see everyday" I hear him say "I'll go get the others you stay here with him!" He nodded and I left, I was worried

Clay's pov
I woke up to see five people around me, three were busy talking, two were looking at me, a man wearing Red and another wearing Green the one in the green spoke to me "oh thank goodness you're awake! Are you ok what happened?!" I groaned, then the red one says "c'mon give the man some space and look how beat up he is, we should take him to a hospital" I was picked up by all of them and taken to a hospital like the red one said, soon I was treated by a doctor and I was left there in a bed, finally I could see my surroundings more clearly, I was in a tall building because I looked out my window which seemingly is a whole wall, and I see I'm so high up, I see the village, it looks like a whole kingdom!, I see I am no longer wearing my armor, it's on the other side of the room with my sword and... wait? Where's my shield?!, I see six men walk in, a doctor, a man in black he for some reason has hyge eyebrows, a man in blue he seems to have a bit of Jestro's look in him and he also looks a bit like Aaron, a man who is silver? Or iron? He might be a robot, and there were also the other two the man in green and the other in red, he comes up to me and asks "are you ok? Who are you?" I say "I'm fine" this is a different place... but I'll stay with my true name "My name is Clay Moorington" he smiles slightly "glad to see you're fine, nice to meet you Clay, I'm Kai Smith!" Kai seemed nice, then the green one came up to me "so your name is Clay? Cool, what happened to you?" What was I supposed to answer him? That I came from a different dimension or something? "Leave him alone, we all saw what condition he was, he may need more time to rest" says the man in black "I'm Cole btw, Cole Brookestone" Cole seems like he practiced and trained a lot, is he a knight? "I'm Lloyd, a protector of the people" says the man in green "that's Jay" he points at the man in blue "and that's Zane" he points at the silver one "the five of us are protectors of the city, the city of Ninjago and you probably already know all of that stuff so I'll stop" then the doctor says "actually we have no records of him at all, it's like he doesn't exist" what? "Before we toke him to the hospital, I noticed he came through a portal, he may come from a different realm" says Zane "but how is that possible? The realm crystal is locked away in Ninjago, how could it end up where he came from?" Lloyd replies "we'll figure that out later, he probably doesn't have a place to stay, want to stay with us for a while Clay?" Says Kai "Sure" I say, "But where is my shield?" He looks at me confused then Jay says "oh that um I kept it with your sword and armor, are you some kind of nerd?" Everyone looks at him like he's stupid "did you not hear how he came out of a portal zaptrap?" Says Cole "yeah but it looks high tech, pretty retro boulderbrain!" Jay replies "Clay just ignore them, sometimes they can get pretty annoying, mostly when they fight" I agree, at least I still have my shield... I wonder how everyone back in Knighton are doing?
***meanwhile***
Macy's pov
I kicked Jestro a bunch of times now, Lance is being lazy, Aaron is at least trying to help, Axl is fighting off more monsters, sigh Clay where are you now?
***back to Ninjago***
Clay's pov (still)
I was helped along the way to get to their home, I injured my legs pretty badly, they're not broken they are just weak, almost everything here is different from Knighton, buildings are taller, there is less nature, most woman are wearing pants, and everyone looks like they are wearing what rich people wear... who knows? They might even be richer than the king and queen, the Ninja finally got me to their home, a bounty, I never thought they spent most of their time at sea, they didn't have a spare room so they argued and voted that Kai had to share his room with me, I hope he doesn't mind. I went ahead and sit on the stool he had, he insisted I take his bed and he'll take the floor, he said he would like it better in bed but since I'm a guest he'll let me be in the bed, I just decided to take it so the arguement wouldn't last longer, he was on the floor "so... you save the city from villains?" "Yes" he replies "what's your weapon?" He says "a sword" maybe later we can duel or do something I know what to do... I don't want to embarrass myself in this new world, sure I'm probably already messing up by trusting and sleeping in a stranger's bed but at least they saved me "see you in the morning" I heard him say "good night" I closed my eyes and fell asleep

Author pov
I know that was bad but I wanted to take a small break from Jay x Overlord plus I thought this ship was cute, I'm gonna continue both books I just need a break cause c'mon peoples spring break! Everyone needs a break! Hope you enjoyed!
