  Kai's pov
I push Jestro off and get up to help Clay off the Ground, I say "I kind of get to have my question asked first since this is my room you broke into" he sighs "I came to stop you from doing something stupid!" I ask "Which would be?" He pinched and pulled my ear "I told you back in Knighton, I'll tell you again here, but don't make me repeat myself, You can't date Jestro, just don't, you don't have my permission, I don't want you dating my enemy" I wince, his nail is deep in there, I say "I can date who I want, you left me remember? Or is this your way of saying you want me back?" He let go and pulled out his sword "You're not allowed to date Jestro, it's that simple, it would be weird for my ex to date my enemy" that is actually a common sentence here, ex with enemy.

I say "Look you can either take me back without worrying what Jestro is plotting or stay broken up with no actual power over my decisions" Clay snapped at me "I don't want you and Jestro together! You can't date him because I say so! Anyone else would be fine just not him, I don't need to be in a relationship with you to say so!" I was getting angry, then I realized something "I can't believe it... you're threatened by Jestro" he looked at me confused "What?" I reply "You're jealous or something am I right? You don't want me dating Jestro because you think I'll like him more than you that eventually I'll end up forgetting you, you want me to keep loving you so you try splitting us, you just don't want to give me another chance because if you do you don't want to lose the argument, you think I'll walk all over you and do whatever I want afterwards" he bit his lip, was I right?

He looked vulnerable for a split second then his eyes glowed, he snapped at me "THAT'S RIDICULOUS, JESTRO IS WORTHLESS! I'M THE GOOD GUY TRYING TO STOP YOU FROM DOING SOMETHING STUPID, WHY ON EARTH WOULD I BE JEALOUS OF HIM?!" That was so cold, I look at Jestro, he looked hurt, he began to cry. My blood began to boil, I growl and snap at him "IF YOU WEREN'T JEALOUS THEN YOU WOULDN'T CARE IF I WAS WITH HIM! YOU WOULDN'T BE GOING THROUGH THIS MUCH TROUBLE, YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS FOR GOOD, YOU'RE DOING IT FOR YOURSELF! MY FAMILY KNOWS IT'S MY CHOICE SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM CRYING TO YOU, BUT IT'S MY OWN LIFE, YOU EITHER LOVE ME OR DON'T, BUT AFTER HOW YOU TREATED BOTH ME AND JESTRO, I DON'T THINK I LIKE YOU ANYMORE!" He gasped softly "W-what?" I reply "You heard me Clay, maybe I should date Jestro, he is sweeter than you, he doesn't seem to fuss, he's also a good listener" I went to pull Jestro close, I know Clay's gonna want to kill him.

I hug Jestro, he hugs back hiding his face in my chest, I feel someone pull my sleeve, I groan "What do you want Clay? You've done enough damage!" I look at him and see in his eyes a gentleness I thought was long gone, he whimpered "K-Kai... please don't..." I sigh and say "Clay you said a lot of things... hurtful things... just leave us alone... Isn't that what you wanted?" He bit his lip, he gripped and held my arm "I don't want you to be with Jestro... I don't want you to love a mistress more than you loved me... if that's how it is then what we had between us fake?" I had no idea it was like that, I tell him "Clay I never cheated on you, Jestro and I were just getting along, that doesn't mean we're in love, we're just friends" Jestro looked up at me confused.

  Clay's pov
Just friends? That seems unbelievable, I ask him "How do I know you're not lying?" He says "Just trust me, I never thought once of even flirting behind your back, I didn't want to lose you" I felt my heart beat, I try to kiss him but get blocked. He says "Seriously? That's what you're going to do? I'm actually relieved to know you still like me but what you said really hurt me... having you act like everything is ok after the way you acted is just... I don't know just wrong!" I back off and admit "Ok maybe I did overreact a little..." Jestro raised an eyebrow "A little?" Kai adds "You tried to kill Jestro... twice!" I notice Cole standing in the doorway, he says walking away "I'mma set up the roll out mat"

I tell Kai "I'm Sorry for the way I unfairly treated you, I should've given you a chance to defend yourself" he says "Clay can we all have this conversation in the morning? I'm tired" I look away sighing "That's fine" I walk out of his room, as I do I hear them talk "What was up with you today Jestro?" He replied "You'll find out next time when I actually get to do it" then Jestro walked past me and slumped on the couch with an unusual smug look even for him in his evil form, I look at the floor and see the bed made for me, I say "That's just a mat with a pillow and blanket" Cole replied "I could've gotton the tatami but I remembered that one, you're a rock person, two, you dumped my brother for no good reason and three, I support Kaitro" he walked away, jerk... I lay down and went to sleep.
