  "Jestro! What are you doing?!" He stared off into the distance, then looked as if he was going to jump, he says, "I never wanted it to be this way" he jumped.

  Kai's pov
I made it to the tea shop and asked Mystake if she had any tea that could revive a person from stone, she says, "I have just the trick for Arthur Itus, the years have finally caught up with you eh?" I shook my head violently and said, "I meant actual stone, as in turned by Medusa type of case" she paused, she sat down and asked me, "So what's the cause of it? Because I have several teas that could cure stones but it has to be the correct antidote or the side effects will be dire" I sigh, "I actually don't know, foreign magic, but not sure what spell... heh I sound crazy don't I?" She replied, "Don't we all?" I chuckle and explained the magic came from another realm, she claims she can cure it but the cure will take a while, I accept it anyway, as long as Clay gets cured. I decided to go back to the bounty, I can't wait to help him, to save him, the only question is that will he be the Clay I knew before he turned to stone or will he be the same?

When I got back I found everything quiet, too quiet... did someone die? I went inside and found the gang all surrounding the couch I squeeze in and see Jestro on the couch unconscious, Zane was tending him, I ask, "What happened?" Zane replied, "Jestro jumped off the bounty, we were lucky we were only up a small height or else he might've... Jestro is just suffering from a concussion and sprained shoulder, but he should be fine" I look at Jestro, why would he jump? I look at everyone, "How could this have happened?" Everyone murmered and looked at each other then looked at Clay. Clay looks at me upset, then he says, "I merely asked him where he got those wounds on his neck, when I tried to get an answer he tried to avoid it, then he said he was sorry, afterwards he jumped off the bounty" I look at Jestro's neck, I realize what those marks were, everyone knew what they were, then Ronin says, "Oh those? Don't worry about it kiddo, those are just-" I kicked Ronin away, I look at Jestro, I asked, "When do you think he'll wake up?" Zane replied, "Not long, I assume two hours" Ronin growled "Yeah I'm fine, thanks for asking, now what the heck was that for?!" I didn't answer, I don't have to say anything to him.

I regret what happened between Jestro and I but I can't let Clay know... I just can't... do this again...  Clay asked, "Kai! He's your friend! You have been nothing but rude to him!" I bit my lip as he put his hand on his shoulder, before Ronin could say anything I grab his collar and drag him to my room, I slam the door and slammed him on my door, pinning him against it with both hands. He grabbed my wrist saying, "Well doesn't this bring back any pleasant memorie-" "WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?!" he paused when I snapped at him, he pushed me back and said, "Seriously! What the heck?! Can't we just talk like normal civilized people? What are you so afraid of that you had to constantly kick me away!?" I only said, "Why are you here? Don't you have a shack to crawl into?" He replied, "Well I happen to be chased by the Nindroids, just like your friend! I need to lay low" I sat on my bed saying, "Well maybe this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't messed around with them" he growls, "I'm chased because I foiled their plans! I helped you guys! They'll chase me either way!" I only say, "Then why come here? Wouldn't it be better you hid somewhere isolated, off grid and away from me?" He shook his head.

He says, "It's just... I gotta keep an eye on Jay, you wouldn't understand... look... I really do wanna get past the past but... you can't forget it happened, can't we just talk about like normal people? Like a bad memory instead of a curse coming every night?" I pause, I say, "I just... don't want to repeat it, I don't want them to know... I don't know what happened... You know well what those marks were... on Jestro's neck... Back then I messed up... but this time... it wasn't my choice... it was as if I were controlled by something else... besides... you saw what happened in the Hiroshi incident..." he sat by me, "Yeah... it was horrifying watching that... worrying about what was going on with you, the two of us couldn't help you, we were all just at the wrong place at the wrong time, I just want to be able to talk about it since... you know that power surge?" I nod, he explained, "I... I had no choice Kai... we were ambushed by Nindroids in the lost city of Oriboris... we would've been taken back to Overlord's lab... I had to let him use it or else we would've been goners! You know what happened to those in Overlord's lab... I had to give him this..." he pulled out a green crystal, I gasp and backed away, my back against the wall, I ask, "How much did you take?!" Ronin says, "Only two, this one and one hidden in my shop, he was so powerful with this... but what I don't understand was his reaction... so that's why I need to stay here, honestly I was going to leave but then I remembered you... I can't let the same happen to Jay, it left you in such a state, you understand right?"
