Kai x Clay Ninjago/Nexo Knights (Phoenixshipping)

Previously....
It's time I should run, but where? I didn't know how to open a portal, I back away some more then I say something I never thought I would say to anyone....
          
            "You're a monster..."
Then I ran away

Kai's pov
I ran after Clay, his words hurt me... You're a monster he says... I have to make him understand, I don't want to lose him "Clay! Come back!" I call out his name a lot, but he continues to run, faster than me. I finally catch up to him and grab him "Clay stop!" He struggles "let me go Kai!" I look at him, all I see in his eyes are fear
"Clay please... I'm not a monster, I'm just born this way" he still struggles "Kai I need to go... I don't belong here..." his eyes looked pained, "I need to go back home Kai..." I hug him tightly "You don't have to, you could stay a bit longer, I know you aren't used to seeing that in your realm but I won't hurt you I promise" Clay pauses... then pushes me away "I'm sorry but I have to go, I don't think we can be togethor right now anymore..." he runs away...
I thought that I'd been hurt before, but no one's ever left me quite this sore... I follow him... "your words cut deeper than a knife" I try not to draw attention "now I need someone to breath me back to life" I got a feeling that I'm going under, but I know that I'll make it out alive, If I quit calling you my lover and move on... well... you'll have to watch me beat it till I can't breath, shaking, falling onto my knees...

Clay's pov
I look through Kai's stuff and find the realm crystal. I felt horrible about what I said to him, but I have to go back the others might be worried about me. I open a portal hoping it leads to Knighton then I closed my eyes and go in, I open my eyes to see I'm in my room. I'm home, I went out the door and see Lance and Lloyd talking in the hallway, they both see me, Lloyd grips a knife, Lance runs up to me "Clay you're not allowed to leave me like that!" I roll my eyes, why would I need his permission. Lloyd pins me to the wall "Where's Kai?" He says menacingly, I look away "He's not with me. He's in Ninjago" I say to him, he lets me go "D-did you?... break up with him?" I don't think I did, but after what I said to him he might've thought I didn't love him anymore "here" that was all I said to Lloyd as I gave him the crystal, Lloyd smiled slightly as he opens a portal, "bye" he says, he leaves "So what happened between you two" Lance asks "Events..." I was a coward, I should've fought him... but... he wanted to help me, I shouldn't have hurted him like that

***later***

Clay's pov
I explain to them about what I experienced, Aaron thought I should give Kai another chance, Macy thought maybe Kai was a magma monster after all, Lance was happy, Axl thought what I had done was pure cruelty... I leave the dining table, they all look at me confused... I go to my room and lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling, I can't eat, I can't sleep while knowing I hurt someone who didn't deserve it, I thought I would never go to sleep. After an hour I fell asleep...
I look around to see I'm in a building... I stood in the middle of a rock platform surrounded by lava, am I in the same dream? This is new, I look over to my side and saw a shadow... then I hear something

I wake up, or I think I did, then I get off the bed when I hear that noise again. Maybe I can take a small walk and see if it's just a woodland critter. I walk around outside wearing my armor and holding my weapons, I feel something pick me up and carry me away

Later...

I wake up in a forest, the same one in Ninjago... my first thought was Lloyd kidnapped me, though why this spot?, I walk around and see the fire temple Kai told me about, I changed my mind and thought Kai did it. I hear a loud flapping noise, then a dragon lands in front of me.
I couldn't pull out my sword because the dragon has it, I try to run quickly towards it and take my weapons out of it's claws, it picks me up in it's mouth and carries me into the temple, dropping me off on the platform in my dream... surrounding it was lava, it throws me my sword and shield, I take them and try cutting it and an all too familiar voice breaks the fight "woah woah woah calm down Clay!" Says Kai, hopping off the dragon "What do you want Kai?" I say looking away "I want you" he gets closer "look I'm sorry about what I said ok? Now let me go back" Kai smiled an awkward smile "no..." I roll my eyes "I have responsibilities Kai" then I quickly hop to another rock by the platform but then the dragon picks me up and puts me on it's back, I was sitting behind Kai.
I keep asking Kai to put me down and let me go, "Nope!" He keeps saying. Soon after a long flight and a strange awkward singing... though it was nice, I didn't think Kai sang, the words were stuck in my head "I can show you the world🎵" it was nice. We dropped off at the temple of fire again, Kai helped me off the beast. "Ok thanks for the ride" I say then I walk off "Nope!" Kai says again, hugging me from behind, the dragon dissappears "Kai let me go please..." Kai pins me against the wall of the temple "why did you leave me Clay? Is it because I let you get hurt?" I shake my head, and tell him "Look it's nothing really personal just you... your ability... to control fire, you aren't like fire tamers I know, you can make them appear and control it, you never get burned, not the slighest" I think I see a tear fall out of his eye "is that why you called me a monster? I was born this way Clay, it was never my choice... I like the way I am, why can't you?" I feel very bad now... "do you think I would hurt you? I just want to protect you not hurt you" he hugs me "you're safe with me" he tells me "I-I'm sorry Kai... I didn't know what I said or why I used that word, what can I do to make it up to you?" Calling a person a monster draws the line "You'll make me feel better with a little kiss" I sigh, I guess a kiss is good enough for an apology. I kiss Kai on the lips and he pushes me against the wall and deepens it, kissing me full of passion and wrapping his arms around me, I break the kiss "hey you said one little kiss!" He chuckled "I may have told a little white lie" I feel slightly betrayed "did you also lie about keeping me safe and-" he kisses me again and said "I am keeping you safe, no one else will have you which means no one else will hurt you mentally or abuse you physically" I guess it makes sense "I'll carry you around to make sure you don't get little blisters on your little feet" ok now I know he's teasing me "will you take me back Clay?" He asks.
I wonder why I had to leave him, I can't stay with him because I belong in Knighton, but we can exchange contacts "sure" Kai grins and kisses me on my cheek "lets get out of here now" he smirks and puts me over his shoulder "Ok princess!" He says laughing slightly "Hey! I would be a prince not princess..." he carries me out and takes us back to that hotel "why here?" I ask "I got free admission for a week, can't let it go to waste!" He takes us back to our room and puts me on the bed, it feels comfy and I sigh from relief of how soft it feels, I close my eyes... I'm sure they won't mind me gone for a week

Kai's pov
I lock the door and hop onto the bed, Clay looks so cute falling asleep... I missed Clay even if he was gone for only a day. I take off Clay's armor and weapons and drop them onto the floor "Kai what are you doing" he asks "I just thought you would feel a bit more comfy without them in the way" he smiles slightly and covers himself up with the blanket, I get under it and snuggle with him, so much has happened, the portal, meeting Clay, Lance B****mond and Lloyd Garmadon both Yanderes, that wolf attack, breaking up then getting back togethor... come to think of it I'm not sure if Clay has gone to the hospital yet, he seems fine but I think he should still get checked.
The next day when we woke up I asked Clay about his injury and he said the others back home took care of it, I was relieved. We left to eat some breakfast and take a small walk in the park, after our outing we went back to the hotel, we just sat on the bed and talked for a bit, I got bored and locked the door while Clay wasn't looking. I go up to him and kiss him, he kiss back and I push him onto the bed and sit on his waist, he blushes
"Kai what are you doing?" He asks, I ignore his question and kiss his neck, I get a small moan out of him and he quickly covers his mouth "K-Kai no!" He says "It's not my fault you're so cute and I love you so much" he looks away and kiss spot on his neck, trying to find his sweet spot,  he bites his bottom lip pushing on my face trying to stop me, then I hear a loud moan out of him, "found it~" I suck that spot, he wimpers slightly but then starts moaning, his whole face turning bright red. "K-Kai! Please not there!" I never thought of Clay as a weak one, he was always so cute and strong, but not today, I bite on it, leaving a hickey then I get a strange reaction from him, Clay wraps his legs and arms around me and says "Take me baby I'm all yours!" Clay was a jerk to me so I'm gonna be a jerk back "no" I say, after Clay regains his breath, he looks at me shocked and surprised. He unwraps his legs and arms around me "I-I... I didn't know what got into me I-" I put my finger on his lip "shhh... you were just weak against my powerful kisses" he pouts and whines "Hey! You bit me!" He rubs his neck, heh red spots look kinda good on him... as long as they're from me.
  I get up and walk towards the door "Hey how dare you do that to me! Get back here! If we are gonna be doing that then I have to at least do it too!" I smirk and look back at him "No" I unlock the door, I hear him whine in the back "I'm coming for you Kai!"
