Cole's pov

I wake up and groan, my back... I hear silent sobs behind me, I sit up and see Jestro crying and whimpering "No it wasn't supposed to be this way, I really done it now..." I scooch over and put my hand on his shoulder, he jumped and said "Cole! You're awake!" I ask him "Are you ok Jestro?" He bawls and hugs me "Who care about me?! I got you into this mess!" I hug him back "Um... it's ok Jestro, what happened?" He lets go and says "We were attacked and taken to the capital, we're in the dungeon, I'm sorry they took you too" I say "It's alright Jestro, it's not the first time I've been in a dungeon, I can bre..." I look around, he asks me "Cole what's wrong?" I reply "Just worried, are we being watched? Or heard?" He shrugs "Jestro do they know anything about us? Our powers? who we are? Our skills?" He shook his head so I get up and walk over to the cell bars. I Ask Jestro "Has any gaurd made their rounds yet?" He says "Every fifteen minutes or so, they just came by 3 minutes ago" I say "Perfect! Let's bust outta here, I can be the brawns you can be the brains, do you know your way around here?" He says "I know as much as I know, I think we are in the east dungeon so we can escape through the sewers like Kai and I did last time" I smile and grab the bars, I bended them apart to make a hole for our escape.

I say "After you" he steps through saying "Thanks, that was so cool, so what exactly is your power? Super strength?" I shook my head getting out "No, it's Earth, the strength was a little something extra I worked for" I bend the bars again to make it seem as if we just escaped into thin air, we can't let them know anymore about us than they do. I follow Jestro into the dungeon as he looks at the floor "There should be a drain somewhere around here, I just hope they didn't cut off the sewers" we search and heard a door open, seriously?! I look around and grab Jestro and go into another cell without locking it, I lay down in a certain spot and say "It's ok Jestro act natural, I'll pretend to be asleep" they continue to walk, the gaurd said "They escaped!" A woman scolded them with a cold voice "What?! How could you lose them?!" Jestro walks towards the bars saying "Hey is escaping an option? If so I'd like to pick it" the woman scoffed "You idiot, you almost made the entire royal gaurd go into a full search just because you forgot which cell they're in, you will be punished for your incompetence" the woman walked towards the cell, I wish I could look but I can't let them know I'm awake.

I hear them talk, "That's odd, maybe I struck him harder than I thought, he should've been up by now, now then, onto you Jestro... Monstrox is willing to be merciful to you and give you a position as the court Jester of his kingdom instead of his new body if you cooperate with him" Monstrox... I hear Jestro stutter "W-Why does he need m-me?" The woman says "Well we need some way to be able to attract the knight and the ones from the other dimension" I hear him groan "Another bait trap?" The woman says smugly "Well this time we are going to be torturing you until they surrender and submit to the new king" ...what a b****, the woman walks away, after a bit Jestro shook me saying "They're gone" I sit up and say "Don't worry Jestro, she won't hurt you, people are like that just to scare you" Jestro whimpered "I dunno, she sounded serious, besides hurting me might make the knights give in" I tell him something Kai, Nya and I came up with in case Jay ever gets kidnapped "If she ever makes that threat again just say 'No one wants damaged goods' got it?" He nods, we set our plan to action, if someone gets rid of another to use as a threat they had just lost their leverage.

We go over to the drain Jestro talked about and went in, as we walk through he asks "You don't happen to have a fire power do you?" I reply "no" Jestro chuckled nervously as he gripped my arm "I-I... don't remember it being this dark last time" I search through my pockets hoping they hadn't taken my stuff, welp my phone is gone, I search my boots and miraculously found a glow stick! I snap it and see Jestro gripping me tightly, I jumped back a little, he asks me "What's wrong Cole?! What happened?!" I say sheepishly "Sorry Jestro, I know you were close and all but your makeup kinda startled me" which would normally startle Jay, Jestro looked offended, I should've probably picked a better way to say it. Jestro and I walked through the sewers, after a few minutes Jestro says "You and Kai don't seem at all disgusted or scared about being in the sewers, do Ninjas often spend time in the Sewers?" I shook my head and say "We just adapt quickly" Jestro stayed close to me the entire time.

Kai's pov
"Ronin we shouldn't be doing this" he chuckled "Ah what's he harm? He can't feel nothing in his never beating never existing heart of his, he won't care, besides, you and work perfectly together" he takes my hand and leads me "You and I, the Ninja and Mercenary, the gruesome twosome, together we'll be unstoppable!" I look away "That's what he said about him and me" Ronin rolls his eyes "Stop trying to guilt yourself, he made you not you, if you wanna be happy, be with someone who isn't possesive and a control freak" I chuckled "So I should be with someone reckless and sneaky?" Ronin shrugs "Maybe, or you could just be with me!" We both laugh, Ronin pulls me in close, everything around us seem to be frozen in time, Ronin inches closer to me as I to him, "What. do you think. You're doing?" I stop and turn around, I say "It's not what it looks like!" I back away a little, I really have change, I slipped and fell off the mountain, Ronin was soon pushed off afterwards...

"Kai... Kai.... KAI!!" I wake up seeing myself surrounded by the jungle, Ronin was beside of me "You okay?" He asks, I nod and asked "What happened?" Ronin says "Well you saved my life after nearly ending it, so don't expect me to repay you, you did your spinjitzu but still somehow knocked yourself out, but enough talk, let's go get what we came for" He helps me up, I walk with him. The feelings get strong as I get closer, Ronin notices and says "Try to control yourself Kai, I know you have a hard time with it but we'll make it quick" we continue our path, memories flood my head, I look around the environment, it feels like I've been here yesterday but at the same time I haven't been here in ages, what's with that feeling? Ronin was talking but I wasn't listening, soon we made it to the waterfall that was called the jewel of Hiroshi's Labrynth, we went around it and began to get closer and closer to the entrance. I took a breath and went inside with him, it was the same as before, a long cold entrance...

I lit my hand to light the way, he says "Careful, when I came through here last time the place was more brittle, so don't make a wrong move" he pulls out a flashlight and shone it to a giant hole in the floor "Don't believe me? There's your proof" he and I walk through the entrance and made it to the door, Ronin and I grab the heavy door and pushed together "Seems like this door always gets heavier" I ask "Wait, how many times did you come here?" He says "Seventeen or eighteen times, this place has got some rare materials" he and I walked into the room. There was lava everywhere, yup, everything is like I remember, I walk across the new bridge which I assume Ronin made for his trips, he ran in front of me saying "I think you should be the one following me" I roll my eyes and follow him, the place does look a little different, with a touch of Ronin, I get more flashbacks, each room was still dangerous and because of Ronin's rare materials he obtains here he also placed a bunch of booby traps.

We made it to the center, when we got there he looked at a map, why does he have a map if he's been here before? Many times he has even remembered where the traps are, he looked up from his map "Alright the room is over..." his eyes widen, he says "Run Kai!" He ran off, I look behind me and saw a terrible sight, General Cryptor was here, he cursed as he dodged a trap, dang Ronin you're deadly... I ran in the opposite direction in hope he didn't see me, why is he here?! As I ran into the next room I ended up falling into a huge pool of water, I hated how random the place was! I just hope Ronin didn't put any piranhas in it, as I think about it, Ronin pretty much sent me to my death. I swim to the other side and hear a door, I quickly went underwater and stayed near some long kelp, I looked up and watched Cryptor scan the water, he either knows I'm here or he's looking for more traps to watch out for, I was beginning to lose air, I tried to hold on longer, but what hope do I have against a Nindroid when I'm underwater?! Honestly this place feels like an irritating water dungeon even if only a few of the rooms actually have water.

I decide to go up and get some air, just a little to make me last, I just hope he doesn't sees, thankfully there are some lilypads and other water plants floating on the water, I try to swim up but my leg gets caught up in the kelp, suddenly the kelp wraps around me, either this was always here or Ronin brought this from Stiixs, Ronin when I come out of here I am going to smack you so hard you'll see my evil twin, I try hard to break free but it kept trying to take me down, I accidentally open my mouth and let out my air, I panic, I need to get out now. I search myself for a blade, I find a dagger on me and began cutting the kelp and swim up, it caught onto my arm and my dumb self let go of the dagger! I try ripping off the kelp and it didn't work, I ended up getting more caught, more tangled, I then decided to use fire, I try to burn the plant, maybe if I get hot enough the water will boil and the plant with wilt or die, the water is pretty cool so maybe boiled water will stop it! But I couldn't even see the result, I didn't have enough air, I began to black out, I was too late, I felt myself drift away...
