Welcome home

I'm back!~ and no one cares, I started these stories and I plan to finish em, it's been what? 5 months? I'm not giving up on this just because the one of them died, I'm still standing, still going

   Macy's pov
I worry, I pace, everyone is worried now that Clay and Jestro are missing, sure the ninjas sent us a message but we still worry... Monstrox seems to be advancing on everyone in every village, some villages are even surrendering! Aaron's still a great leader but we need Clay, we can't do this alone! Ava contacted Kai and no one answered, No one knows at all that my father has been possessed by Monstrox and that's why the attacks are held back on the raids, the kingdom is near anarchy and mom is still missing!

   Aaron's pov
I put my hand on Macy's shoulder, she gets out of whatever trance she's in, I'm worried too but we gotta be brave, we actually are setting up an army of our own, some villages decided to revolt so we teamed up with them, soon everyone will defend their village and protect their people, we'll also be able to stop Monstrox/Halbert. All of us prepare for our next mission, we head for the AurumVille, they're starting an anarchy, maybe we can recruit them.

"Aaron..." I turn around and see Lance, he says shyly "Aaron I just wanted to say that... if we don't win.... if we fail the kingdom I wanted you to know th-" I shush him "Lance! Don't be like that! We'll win! We just gotta fight on!" I quickly asked Ava as soon as she came into the room "Any word from Clay, Kai or Jestro?" She shook her head, I sigh and told her to keep trying, Axl came up to me and said "Aaron... maybe they decided to give up on us, maybe they're not even with us anymore..." I slap him "C'mon people! Think positive! We can get out of this, what would Clay say about this?!" Robin replied "He would most likely yell at us an-" I stop him and Remind him "No! I'm talking about our Clay before he became stone! The same Clay we had first becoming official knights!" Macy answers "He would... tell... us that we shouldn't give up so easily!" I nod, Axl continued "He would tell us that we had gone through tougher situations than this!" I stomp "Yeah!" Robin kept the chain "He would say that all our work would prepare us for this!" I nod and point at Lance, he hesitates and says "He would tell us to train, to follow the Knights code, to work hard" I grin "Exactly, and train hard is what we're gonna do!" We all got in and held our weapons together, we shout "For Honor! For Chivalry! For Justice! For Knightonia! For the Realm!" I added "For Clay and Jestro!" We yelled and began training harder than before.

We need to do more than just fighting a bunch of enemies at once, we need plan, we need form, that's it! Battle formations! Plus we got an army in the works with us! It's perfect! When we got to AurumVille, they were attacked by the monsters, of course we jumped into action, we put our new training to work, it worked, right after the monsters retreated we went to the people, we talked about setting up a huge army to revolt against the monsters, we couldn't tell them about Monstrox being inside the king, not yet...

 Robin's pov
I stare off at the castle far away shining in the distance, I feel useless not being able to help more, sure I have a battle suit but I feel like I can do... more... I sigh and get ready to leave, I'm gonna see what they're up to, I'll tell Merlok and Ava my plan, but the knights cannot know

   Jestro's pov
I can't be here anymore! I've ruined things enough, I need to go back, I want to go back home, I search through Kai's stuff, a slightly raspy voice made my heart drop "What do you think you're doing?" I look to see Cole leaning in the doorway, I froze "I-it's not what it l-looks like!" Cole rolled his eyes "Ok what's wrong Jestro?" I sigh, I tell him "I don't belong here, I've cause enough trouble, I need to go but I need what Kai used to bring me here" Cole got close "C'mon Jestro, you're safe with us and you need rest" I gripped his shoulder "Please Cole... I want to go home" he paused, he was quiet, his eyes became gentle and he said "Alright Jestro, I know what it's like to be homesick" he told me to wait on the couch, I did.

Cole came to me five minutes later with the crystal and Zane, he tells me that the crystal needed to stay here, so he'll open the portal and Zane can close it, I was confused why they needed to take turns, when I asked, Cole scratched the back of his head saying "Actually... I've wanted to see Knighton for quite a while, besides, I need to make sure you get home safe" I nod in understanding and tell them thanks for their hospitality, the portal opens before me and I step in with Cole close behind, finally I'll be home...

   Cole's pov
Well... looks like we made it, the world looks so similar yet so different here in Knighton... I look at Jestro and see how calm he was, as if a weight was lifted off his shoulders, he and I walked around, I ask "Is there somewhere we need to go? Someone you need to call?" He shook his head, he says "I'm just glad to be home" he and I walk and talk, "Jestro... I know it's personal but... do you really like Kai? In that way?" Jestro blushed, he says "Well a little I guess... but I guess that's my opinion only because of being treated the way I was by him, but in a much deeper connection... not really no, Clay and Kai seem to be a better match, even if Clay is stone cold he still cares about Kai, I just wish I wasn't in the way all the time, ya know?" I tell him "I don't really think you're in the way, Kai is just like that" his smiles fades a little "I guess... but I still feel at fault... I feel... like a mistake, like I... sorry that got really sad, ya know maybe we should call the other Knights, just to be safe, I'm sure they'd love to see you!" I smile "Yeah that'd be great!"

I pull out my phone "Huh no bars... that's weird, I thought they had service here" he tilts his head "Yeah... they Do, that's weird, maybe we're in a no connection zone, could be just a simple attena down, let's try elsewhere" we try going around in different areas hoping to get a better connection but no luck, I ask Jestro "Do you know where we are?" He shook his head "I'm afraid I don't, sorry Cole" we kept walking around until we finally found a village, I tried to go get directions but Jestro says "I can't go in there! I'm wanted! And people will know you're not from here!" I thought about what to do and I ask him to wipe off his makeup "No! I can't do that!" I sigh and decide to go head on and ask for directions, a Farmer noticed us and said "Hey there's Jestro and some other flashy person-" "Excuse me sir" I said, "We seem to be lost, we're trying to get to a cosplayers/costume con event, so I would like to know where we are and maybe some directions to the..." I looked at Jestro and he whispered "to the knights" "...The knights of Knighton?"

The Farmer looked at us suspiciously and said "We're Stinkin Rich and Happy Ville here, the knights probably be on their way to the capital, just go over yonder west and make it to another village with a wagon that could take you there" I thank him. Jestro and I ran quickly to our destination "Hey I got a signal now! I could call the knights to pick us up!" Jestro stopped and said "Good, because if we go anywhere near the capital I'll be in big trouble" I ask him "is the king here really that mad with you?" He gasps "Kai never told you? Well... allow me to explain, the king was possessed by Monstrox, the bad guy that made me bad! So now I'm on the run from him!" I panic "If that's the case then we should go back to Ninjago!" He shook his head "I wanted to come home, besides the knights will protect me, they know of the King, we'll plan to take back the kingdom... I'm just surprised a guy like Monstrox hasn't done any damage yet... I'm a little scared to be honest" I think Kai mentioned a Monstrox, I ask Jestro for their numbers. I typed in the number and suddenly I felt a harsh pain on my back and my entire world went black.

   Jestro's pov
"COLE!" I shout and kneel down by his side, I tried to wake him but failed, I hear a sinster chuckle from behind "So you thought you could little Jester? You must be joking" I looked back to see Ruina looking at me sinisterly, "Monstrox almost missed you, now make this easy for both of you and come along quietly" I ask her "What did you do to him?!" She says "Oh no need to worry, just a small spell, he'll wake up when we reach the capital, now come on if you don't want his sleep to be permanant" I try to hold in tears... I'm sorry Cole, I messed up again, I never should of asked you to take me home, I get up and try to pick him up, I could barely lift him, a monster came by to pick him up, he carried him away and I followed. We made it to the Capital and saw the false king sitting in his throne, he looks at me with glee "Jestro! I almost missed you, now the plan can go on track again, take them both to the dungeon" they chained us both while Cole was still asleep, I try to hold it all in, as we were lead away I hear Monstrox say "One more thing Jestro" I look back at him... "Welcome Home"
