Autumn
After Lucy and pick out our ideal outfits we go to get some star bucks until I felt the urge to pee
"Hey I'll be right back I need to go to the restroom" I stand up as Lucy nods and I head into the bathroom
There was a group of girls smoking and the smell was so strong, I've always hated the smell of smoke
"Oh sorry, I'll use the other restroom" I cover my mouth
One of them that was dressed in ripped black jeans walked over and stood right in front of me
"Miss preppy over here doesn't like the smell, and what's your name?" She practically blew smoke in my face
"A-Autum" I hesitate but I choose to stand my ground
"Oh yeah, your the new girl at school. We have math and science together" the other girl sitting on top of the sink taking another hit
"You know this freak Nadine?" The bitch in front of me turns to speaks to 'Nadine'
"I-I better g-get going, my friend is waiting for me" I try to stumble away but they just keep opening their mouths
"Wow, you have friends... who else ?" No name girl says shoving me
"Y-yeah, Justin, Raegan, dam-" I was going to keep going but they stopped me
"wait a minute! Your friends with those musically gays?" Nadine questions
"Can you girls please just back the fuck off?!" I shout without warning, I turn to the girl in front who is slightly shocked and about to lose it, get one Autumn you couldn't keep your big fat mouth shut
"Excuse me! Oh my god, are you hearing this Abby?!" Nadine hops of the sink drops her cigarette and steps on it
"Freak!" Abby shoves me which causing me to fall back, what the fuck are these girls problems
"Ugly piece of shit, don't you fucking dare talk to us like that. You should be punished...." uh oh... they both nod at each other and began beating me, I tried to pull myself up but I can't, I swear one of them kicked me in the ribs
"Okay I think that's enough for one day... see you at school, be ready" Abby remarks before strutting out
I just lay there for a bit, in complete pain. That hurt like a mother fucker
I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket
Lucy: are you okay? Your taking a while.
I type back but slower than I ideally do
Me: yeah, there was just a lot of people in there
I had to lie, she would go off her but if she found out. I'll hide it for a little bit.
I managed to get up and slowly limp my way over to the mirror, I don't want to see the mess, I slowly but carefully pull my shirt up to see the damage. Already a purple bruise forming on my rib area, it's sticking out. Does that mean it's broken? Fuck I'm freaking out. I take a photo just in case but then I hide in 'my eyes only' in Snapchat
I apply some water to it and the spin in like I'm being stabbed a thousand times.fuck. I have the party tonight and my outfit is a crop top, there gonna see! I need to get something else...
I tried to walk out back in the food area like a normal human being, I find Lucy and sit back down forgetting what just happened and a shooting pain went through me
"Shit!" I screech by accident
"You okay?" She takes her mouth away from her ice latte straw
"Um.... yeah I j-just stubbed my toe on the chair" lies. I never lie
"Hey can I get something else I suddenly don't like the crop top anymore..." I strew up my face a little sort of holding my rib but she can't see from under the table
"Uh, sure we have time" she nods and head off finding a 'longer' top

(At home)
"Okay we have 3 hours until Justin and Raegan come to pick us up I'm going to take a shower" I say getting off my bed and making my way into my bathroom, Lucy's nods and I limp but she doesn't notice because she was lost in her phone
I slowly open the door and slowly lift my top up just staring..... at the bruise, it looks so ugly. Maybe the girls were right, I'm just a freak.
I step one foot then another into the shower and turn the nobs and let the water drip on my hot sore body, I'm gonna be honest, it hurts like a motherfucker. I'm not gonna lie to myself, but I'll do whatever it takes from anyone else from finding out
I wrapped the towel around my chest and started to walk out to Lucy on the phone to someone
"Oh my god totally!" She says but then looks at me, kind of worried "h-hey look I got to go, Autumn just got out of the shower" then hangs up and stands up and walks over to me
"What's that bruise on your shoulder?" Fuck fuck fuck
"Oh, um Justin and I were joking around and I accidentally walked into a door" I lie but she nods in relief
"I'm gonna go downstairs and quickly and grab my charger" she remarks while pointing and already starting to walk out the door
As soon as she walked out I immediately locked the door and ran in my closet and at the top shelf a first aid kid, I managed to get it without falling. I find the bandages and began to really badly wrap them around my ribs, then I could hear the footsteps coming up from the stairs. I quickly finish and threw it in the closet and wrapped the towel back around me
"Hi!" I yell, I panicked...
"Um... hi?" She looks confused but to be honest she should be used to my awkwardness
"I'll be right back" I say walking back into the bathroom with my clothes
I quickly put the long black sleeved shirt and high waisted ripped blue jeans. I heard a knock and let Lucy in, "you coming in to do your makeup?" I question and she nods and closes the door behind her and pulled out her makeup bag and we just talked... about the most random things as we took
turns of doing hair and makeup
