Kousei's POV
"The operation.. Was a success." The nurse said with a beaming smile on her face.
Tsubaki let out a yell of excitement and cried tears of joy hugging the life out of me and Watari. We all hugged and cried a bit as well until Tsubaki broke the hug and ran up to the nurse and embraced her.
"Thank you so much for taking care of her, we owe you so much." Tsubaki said to the nurse.
"There's no need for that, (y/n) has always been like a daughter to me, I would be heartbroken if she passed as well." The nurse said, gently stroking Tsubaki's hair.
"When can we see her?" I asked in a hurry to see her again.
"Soon, she is still recovering from the sedation so give her some time, but in a couple of minutes I'll wheel her down here." The nurse paused and began walking out of the door, but began to speak again.
"When she comes down here, please be gentle with her, she may have a headache and also may be in slight pain." She then left the room.
"She's alive, OH MY GOD SHE'S ALIVE!!" Watari yelled pumping his fist in the air.
Me and Tsubaki chuckled at his overflowing excitement. But in all honesty, I was the same way, having (y/n) being fixed and back to the land of the living, she'll be here with us, not having to worry about this condition she had.
I was beyond overjoyed, knowing she's okay, and more stubborn than I had imagined. The grins and smiles that had been spread throughout me, Tsubaki, and Watari was fascinating. She promised to fight, and that was just what she did.
-time skip-
The three of us left (y/n)'s room to go and get a snack from the vending machines and go to the bathroom, considering how long we had been here.
When we got back to the room, we opened the door and all of our eyes widened in utter amazement.
"Hey guys, miss me?" The peppy (h/c) sitting in front of us said.
"(YYYYY/NNNNN)!!!" We all hollered and tackled her, gently not to hurt her, into an embrace.
"Well, I'll take that as a yes." She giggled at our actions, and released a few tears of joy. We released her and I'm sure all of our hearts just melted at her innocent smile.
"You kept up your end of the promise, huh?" I asked her.
"You bet your ass I did!!!" She yelled, holding up her hand, making a victory symbol.
"When will you be able to come back home and back to school?" Watari asked, being highly impatient.
"Not sure, sometime next week maybe, I have to go through a bit more therapy in order to get my land legs back, but soon enough I'll be up on that damn finals stage and rock the house, right Arima?" (y/n) asked turning her head quickly toward my direction.
"No doubt about it." I said along with a nod. She began to giggle furiously, it soon turned into a hysterical laughter.
"Is that about as happy as you get?!" She asked, still laughing her ass off.
"Well what do you want from me?! I'm trying here (y/n), cut me some slack!" Soon after I said that, the two idiots from behind me began to laugh to no end as well.
I couldn't hold it in any longer, for I started laughing too. Tsubaki and Watari were practically rolling on the floor and (y/n) was clutching her chest, obviously in slight discomfort.
"The best part....is that.... We don't really.... Know why we're....laughing!" (y/n) said in between laughs, she was basically crying, as was everyone else.
Soon, we all began to calm down. "Okay, okay, I think we've all had enough. I think you guys should head home, you all look exhausted, I'm sure waiting for hours here wasn't exactly the most exciting thing on the earth. If you want to see me, roll by here around three o'clock tomorrow, I'm not going anywhere, trust me." (y/n) said, giving us a 'shoo off' motion.
"Right, we'll see you here tomorrow after school (y/n). Also, we'll bring some of the things you missed while in the hospital from school too, K?" Tsubaki said, tilting her head.
"Got it, see ya tomorrow." (y/n) spoke, giving us a thumbs up.
The others left but I stayed behind for a moment.
"Well, what's up?" (y/n) asked with a smirk, knowing damn well why I stayed back.
I gave her one last tight hug, not wanting to let go. She stood up, off of the hospital bed and hugged back. I let her lean on me to keep her balance.
"I'm just really happy to see you, I'm glad you're okay." I said, resting my chin on the top of her head.
"Hey, stop that, you're making me feel short again." She said with an adorable pout on her face.
"Well being short makes you cute." I said with a smirk on my face.
"Agh, I'm not prepared for out of character Arima yet, slow down." (don't think of this as breaking the fourth wall....please)
I began to laugh at her witty comments. She stood up on her toes, gave me a peck on the cheek and smiled.
"You better get going before Tsubaki and Watari come in here with a camera."
"Alright, see you tomorrow." I said as she plopped back down onto the bed.
"BYE BYE!!" She yelled, giving me a big grin.
I walked out and shut the door behind me. Tsubaki and Watari stood directly outside of the door, giving me sly looks.
"What?" I asked genuinely curious.
"Oh, nooooooothing~" The said in unison, still giving me those creepy smirks.
"*sigh*, weirdos." I spoke quietly as I walked off in front of them.
"Hey, we heard that!!" Tsubaki yelled from behind me, and began running after me, so I picked up the speed.
"Nope, not dealing with this right now!!" I screeched, running down and out of the hospital doors, away from hulk Tsubaki.
(Early update because I have a life, for once)
