Kousei's POV

For the past five days, I don't think I could be any happier, with (y/n) being successful in the operation, I haven't had a single doubtful thought on my mind. It seems Tsubaki and Watari have been in better moods lately too, with the holidays coming up in two days, (We are going to be celebrating Christmas in this fanfic, I am so sorry if you don't celebrate Christmas, but I have to make a decision on which holiday, and I will probably butcher any other if I tried to write about them.) and (y/n) being discharged from the hospital soon, everything has fallen into place.

I was walking out of the Algebra classroom and heading down to the music room, holding my backpack over one shoulder. I was planning on practicing the piece the (y/n) wanted to play for the finals.

When I got there, I heard this melodic sound resonating through the air, it made my heart pound. It felt not only perfect overall, but was so depressing that it made my heart wrench.

The sound was the beautiful variation of notes from a piano.

The song soon ended and I wanted to wait for the person to come out so I could compliment them, but I couldn't hold myself back from bursting through the door.

"Hey Kousei, took you long enough to get here!" A female voice called to me.

"(y/n)?" I said as I looked at the (e/c) eyed girl in surprise.

"Was that you playing?" I said, trying to find the words to create full sentences, I couldn't focus after hearing that song.

"Yep, something wrong with that." She said, popping the 'p'. "Did I not mention I don't just play the violin?" She asked innocently.

"No, frankly, you never mentioned!" I said, a bit more intrigued than I meant to be.

"Yeah, I play too many instruments to count." She said with a giggle.

"Like?"

"Well, I play all orchestra instruments, violin, bass, cello, and viola. As you could see, I play piano as well, not to mention a few band instruments which include, flute, clarinet, saxophone and trumpet. Oh, and I play ocarina, melodica, aaaaaand guitar." She spoke, still with an innocent tone as she gazed out of the window.

My jaw dropped. "TWELVE INSTRUMENTS!!!" She smacked a hand over my mouth and gave me a cold glare.

"Yes now shut the hell up before you make both of us look like morons." She said releasing her hand from my mouth. I was still caught up in the whole twelve instruments thing that I didn't let my mind click to the real question until now.

"Hey hold it, not to be rude but why are you here, you're supposed to get discharged tomorrow. And wait, YOU'RE WALKING!!!" She then karate chopped the top of my head, causing me to rub it in pain.

"Jesus Christ, can it Arima, it's great to know that you're concerned and care about me, but seriously, I still have a headache and we are in a god damned school!" She whisper yelled, making her stone cold glare even more frightening. I nodded shakily, and she smiles, totally changing the mood.

"Right then, as an explanation, I was allowed a free day out of the hospital. I'll still be discharged tomorrow, but then thought a free day would be a good way for me to adjust back to the outside world and get my legs back into the groove of things instead of boring old therapy." She took a moment to breath before continuing. "So I thought I'd spend it with you, so what do you say, wanna go out to the movies? I saw this cool horror movie that came out two day ago and I've been dying to see it."
