Mayu tightly clutched her bleeding arm to her chest as she watched Kuro exhale deeply and tilt his head upwards slightly in deep thought.
He said her blood taste good...
She didn't want to jump to any conclusions as she had done yesterday so she assumed he was joking again. Now that he had officially drank some of her blood they were permanently bonded; there was really no escaping from him now.
Belkia stopped in his tracks and frowned angrily as his teeth clenched tightly together and Mayu noticed his knuckles whiten from gripping his sword so tightly. She could tell he was more alert and fearful of Kuro now that he had human blood in his system. She couldn't think of why though, sure Kuro can be scary and intimidating but she didn't think he could have the same affect on another vampire.
"Mayu."
The caramel colored hair girl let out a small sound of surprise an looked up at Kuro to see he was still staring at nothing in particular and refusing to make eye contact with her or even Belkia.
"Y-Yes?"
"Do you accept me as your Servamp?"
The question quickly invaded the girls mind and she immediately already knew there were only two ways to answer this; both answers probably impacting her life greatly.
If she said yes, she could get the excitement and friendship/trust that she longed to have with the blue haired vampire and have a faithful companion.
If she said no, Kuro could finally be free from human command and live his life normally as he was before he ever encounter the two brunettes.
Yes or no?
Mayu tightly bit the inside of her cheek and felt her heart rate increase tremendously when Kuro suddenly averted his gaze from his daze and stared into her chocolate brown eyes with his own blood red ones.
"Well?"
Here goes nothing.
"I...I accept y-you as my Servamp!"
As soon as the words left her mouth, numerous bright blue chains shot out of nowhere and began clumping together to form one big chain as Mayu stared in fasination. The chain completed itself and one end wrapped around Mayu's wrist before locking in place as she noticed the pain in her arm started to subside and the large gash instantly began closing.
"A-Amazing..." she muttered in awe as she stared at her now fully healed arm.
The other end of the chain attached to the back of Kuro's neck and locked in place before disappearing from view, or maybe just turning invisible because although she couldn't see it, Mayu still felt like there was something on her wrist.
"Thank you" Kuro said, getting into a fighting position "then, as your Servamp, I promise to protect you with my life."
Mayu's cheeks flushed a deep red as Belkia cursed angrily and raised his sword.
"You can talk all high and mighty now!!" Belkia jested, trying to arouse some anger from Kuro "Just you wait, Sleepy Ash!!! Tsubaki will have his way with you yet!!! Then you'll run back to your Eve like the scared kitty you are!!"
Kuro smirked and extended his hands slightly as Mayu watched long, sharp, black like claws appear on his hands that glowed an ominous blue similar to the contract chain before it had disappered.
"Meow."
That was the last straw for Belkia.
The pink haired vampire charged at the blue haired one and immediately the sound of metal hitting bone was heard as Kuro's claws deflected his attacks with ease. Belkia grabbed his top hat and pulled another sword from it before furiously attacking Kuro with an onslaught of swings and stabs which Kuro was able to dodge easily.
