The door Rick had cleared for his friends burst open that second, and Glenn had a rifle to the Mexican. “No he’s not!”

The Mexican was about to yell for help when Rick pulled his gun and shot him. He fell to the ground, dead.

“We won’t have long before someone hears that or comes lookin’ for him.” Rick said in haste as he walked over to the cages.

“You’re saying the mission was a bust?” Glenn asked.

“Yes. And no.” Rick pulled off the black tarp and exposed two giant cages with walkers hungry for their flesh. There were too many. Rick and the rest looked on at their threat amazed.

“Rick.” Maggie said. “We gotta do somethin’.”

“Yeah.” Rick took his gun and shot both locks when he heard some cries in the main street from his gunshots.

“Come on!” He yelled as he ran for the door and the walkers poured out of the cages they had been starved in immediately going for the dead Mexican.

Rick and the rest of them ran without closing the door behind them, hoping the walkers would invade the town.

Through the bushes and past the alleys, all 4 ran out of Woodbury, getting back to their car. A walker grabbed Michonne’s hand immediately as they came out, a wandering corpse out in the forest no doubt. She pulled out her sword and sliced the head off.

“Come on! Let’s go!” Rick said harshly.

A man flashed a light on them and took a shot grazing Maggie’s arm. She yelled out and Glenn turned, then shot the man, making him drop dead to the ground.

He helped her into the woods towards the car where a few walkers were. Rick shot his way through, opened the doors and started the car. Michonne was right behind him with Maggie and Glenn. They bullied their way through and immediately after closing the doors, Rick stepped on the gas as calmly as he could, and went backwards, then forwards, out of the forest onto road where people still tried to shoot at them. Maggie and Glenn had to duck in order to keep their head safe in case they happened to aim correctly.

Now they knew, the Governor had many walkers, and as obvious as it was before, they were going to be unleashed on Rick’s group at the prison. The only question was how.

                How?

While journeying back to the prison, Daryl and Audrey were trying the same thing as well.

Daryl winced in the darkness and leaned on a tree. Audrey sighed and walked over to him, desperate.

“Daryl. I can’t keep on letting you do this. I can’t take this. And you look like you’ve had it too.”

                “I’m fine!”

“What are you?! The wonder redneck?” Audrey walked in front of him. “I’m begging you.” She exclaimed. “If you don’t want to take off your shirt, then at least lift it up a bit.”

Daryl looked at her genuine concern. “Why do you care so much if it’s done here or there?”

“I have a billion reasons. I want to be useful, but more than that, I want to help you. Isn’t that what, we do? Look out for each other?”
