We were both woken by a loud slam of the door opening. I jolted awake, my eyes still tired from sleeping halfway sitting up. Slade was in the doorway.

“That’s it!” he yelled. He grabbed Keegan and shook him by the shoulders.

“You are spending WAY too much time in my little sister’s room!”

“Slade, stop it!” I said angrily, “nothing happened, he just had a nightmare.”

“What?!” Slade half laughed, “You expect me to believe that he came in here because he had a bad dream?”

“It was about when I got shot so…yes.” I replied, hands on my hips. Keegan was still half asleep and just lolled his head backwards. Slade dropped him and left in a huff, not saying anything more. I stared angrily out the doorway until Keegan brought my attention back to him.

“I need to stop getting myself into bad situations.” He said. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek.

“Yes you do, now you better get out of here before everyone else gets suspicious.” He yawned and left. I jumped in the shower and got dressed, my hair was now long enough to put into a pony tail so I did and left the room. As I was walking down the hallway, I could have sworn I heard Ace’s voice. I looked around but couldn’t find it so I just continued to breakfast.

When I came back down the hallway I heard it again. My curiosity got the better of me and I opened the door. There was Huey, sitting on his bed and Ace was in his blue hologram form. A rage started inside me and I couldn’t help but shout.

“Huey!” Huey fell off the bed, got up and closed the door quickly.

“Lynette, what are you doing here?” he asked casually, I looked at him with squinted eyes.

“I heard Ace’s voice and I know why. Why did you tell Piper you could only bring him back once.” I asked accusingly, crossing my arms.

“I can only bring him back once for HER. If I brought him back to her anymore she would become addicted to it and wouldn’t think of anything else, like the mirror in Harry Potter.” Huey explained.

“And I want her to live her own life, even if I am not there to share it with her.” Ace said from the back.

“Sorry, I didn’t think about that, I will just go then.” I said, awkwardly going for the door.

“Wait!” Huey shouted, closing the door again, “Please don’t tell her about this, it would ruin things between the cloister even more. Actually, just don’t tell anyone.”  I nodded and left. Rain was in the hallway, a disapproving scowl on his face.

“Damn Lynette! How many guys are you going to sleep with?” He asked.

          “What!?” I asked, offended.

“Umm, lets see, Darian, Keegan, and now Huey! Come on!”

“First of all, Rain, it is none of your business who I spend my time with. Secondly I have never been with Darian or even Keegan and I just needed to ask Huey a question.” I said hotly.

“Lynette, you were with Darian for at least two months, do you really expect anyone to believe that you two didn’t do it?” He said smartly.

          “Why would you think that?”

“Umm, well the way Darian bragged about how he had done it with you when you two got back from Texas.”

“He did What!” I almost screamed. I stormed off and found Darian at the breakfast table as I expected. The dude was stuffing himself as usual. I walked up and just slapped him across the face multiple times.

“What the Hell!” he said, throwing down his banana.

“I heard about what you ‘claimed’ about you and me when we got back from Texas. So every time I turned my back you made up a story about how we were together. I didn’t think kissing was equivalent to sex Darian but if you are going to be that sleezy then just go ahead.”

“You are the one with Keegan in your room every night and then denying anything that you two do!” he retorted.

“It is because we never do anything. You weren’t there when Ace died. Maybe Piper was right and you really did want him out of the picture.”

“I can’t believe-“ he started, looking taken aback.

“You know, I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt, saying that you just didn’t really know how to keep a girlfriend, but you really have no perception of other people’s feelings, I will never feel sorry for you again.”  And with that I walked out, angry to the brim. I couldn’t believe things like that could or would be said about me. Maybe I just wasn’t moving fast enough with Keegan for the rest of the Cloister. I went down to the end of the hallway where Enide sat for so long. I looked out the window at the green, lush grass and greenery in the area. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around. Enide was there, a look of utter urgency and sadness on her face.

“Lynette I need you to come with me.” She said.

“What is it?” I asked. she just shook her head.

“Enide, what is going on?” I asked again.

“Just come with me and it will be explained.” She said shortly. She grabbed me by the wrist and half dragged me down corridors I had never seen before. We went into a dark closet and she opened up what looked like an attic hatch. We climbed the ladder into a musty loft with books spilling into the floor. I tripped over a fallen shelf and Enide came back to get me, dragging me up and then pulling me towards another ladder. We were on the top of the building now, the gray-Irish skies all around us.

“Enide what is going on?” I asked

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” She said crying. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around.

“Hello dear.” Said the sickening voice. It was Rommuel.
