•Chapter 24•

"What have I done..?" Shadow said while holding your body in his arms and walking back to your house.

As Shadow thought about what he had did a few minutes ago, he didn't think that he would kiss you. In his head the thought of him kissing you on the lips quickly kept on bringing back that pleasurable feeling. He desired for that feeling once more. But even though the desire for that feeling overwhelmed him, he kept himself from kissing you once more.

Shadow glanced at your sleeping figure and smiled at your peaceful face. He couldn't help but give a little chuckle when he saw a tiny bit of drool coming out of your mouth. But without thinking, he wiped it from your mouth and kept walking back to your house.

•Time skip back to your house•

As Shadow neared the front door to your house, he gave a sigh of relief. He opened the door and walked to your room to set you down on the bed. Once he did, he draped the blanket over you and turned to walk out. But as he turned, he couldn't help but think what would have happened if you seen him kiss you. He pushed the thought aside and walked out of your room.

Shadow walked to the living room and sat down on the couch while putting his hands on his head. He sat there in the dark room, quietly thinking to himself. He thought about how he had just kisses some girl he doesn't know much. The thought of him kissing a girl, kept replaying in his head. Over and over and over. He closed his eyes tightly trying to get the thought out of his head, but no avail. Shadow shook his head and held his head tighter with his hands.

But as Shadow focused on his thoughts he didn't notice a certain blue hedgehog walk in.

"Hey Shadow.. You alright?" Sonic asked while rubbing his back.

Shadow smacks his hand away and stands up.

"Shadow what the hell is going on with you? " Sonic asked looking at him.

Shadow looked at Sonic with an annoyed face and just turned his back.

But secretly Shadow was dying to tell Sonic what he had done. But even though he wanted to say something, he kept his mouth shut. Knowing that if he told Sonic he had kissed you, Sonic would tease him about it the whole time.

"Shadow how is (Y/N) doing? She is here right..?" Sonic asked with a slightly tilted head and deadly glare.

"She's fine and of course she's here, she's just sleeping.. " Shadow replied with slight annoyance in his tone.

"Okay then... But if I may ask.. Where was she this whole time..? " Sonic asked while putting a hand on his hip.

Shadow froze and looked at Sonic directly in the eyes and shook his head.

"I cannot tell you that.. " Shadow said with his arms folded.

Even though you were a helpless girl with nothing to live for or look forward to, he respected your privacy and didn't tell Sonic about your place you like to go to be alone for a while.

"What? Why not..? " Sonic asked with a growl.

"I just can't.. Now drop it, I'm gonna go out and see if I can find that last chaos emerald.." Shadow growled back while walking toward the door.

Sonic just watched the ebony hedgehog walk to the door and leave. Sonic sighed to himself and shook his head.

"That hedgehog really keeps to himself doesn't he.. " Sonic huffed and walked down the hallway, towards your room.

He slowly pushed the door open and looked at your peaceful body, asleep and warm underneath the covers. Sonic walked over to your bed and sat down on the bed next to you. He started to stroke your hair and looked at your still body, the only movement was your chest slowly rising up and down. Sonic continued to stroke your hair and just thought to himself.

"What are we gonna do with you (Y/N)?" Sonic whispered under his breath.
