"How am I gonna tell her...? " Shadow mentally asked himself.

As this question kept knocking around in his head, he couldn't help but think about your reaction.

What if you turned him down?

What if treated him differently?

These thoughts were getting the best of him and he couldn't handle it. Shadow sat up immediately and put his hands on his head.

"What the hell is wrong with me...? Why do I care so much about her...? Shadow whisper yelled at himself.

Shadow looked at you with a blank stare and just wondered more and more about what you would think of him. He kept thinking that he looks weak and pity for being like that in front of you.

Shadow felt shame about what he was doing to you, he couldn't hold it in anymore. He had to force himself to tell you.

"I have to tell her... I have to dammit.. " Shadow mentally yelled at himself.

•Time Skip to the morning•

As you sat up in your bed, you groggily rubbed your eyes and yawned. But as you open one of your eyes slowly you notice Shadow curled up next to you. You immediately blushed at the thought of you and him doing something the night before. But you immediately calm down as you see you still have your clothes on, he's still far away from you, and he's not one to do that.

You try to crawl out off bed, trying not to wake up Shadow. But failed at he sat up slowly and rubbing his eyes.

"Oh sorry I didn't mean to wake you up Shadow.. " You scratch the back of your head and sweat nervously.

"It doesn't matter.. " Shadow huffs as he stands up and just dusts himself off, acting as if he had something on him.

"A-alright if you say so... But I'm going to go get ready so we can find that last chaos emerald... " You say still rubbing your eyes and walking into the bathroom.

After hearing the words that came out of your mouth, Shadow just stood there in awe not believing that he had forgotten about that last emerald.

'Shit.. I have to tell her before its too late.. Damn this is gonna be even harder.. ' Shadow mentally thought.

"Psst Shadow..! " Sonic whispered trying to get Shadows attention, but also trying not to get your attention.

Shadows head snapped in the direction of Sonic and just walked over to him. Sonic motioned Shadow to come outside of the room. As Shadow walked out and closed the door quietly he looked at Sonic with full attention.

"Okay okay.. What's going on with you and (Y/N)?" Sonic asked getting straight to the point.

"What the hell are you talking about...? " Shadow dismissed Sonic's statement.

"Come on Shadow the look on your face says it all... Now your going to go help her find that other chaos emerald and tell her then.. " Sonic said smugly while putting his hands on his hips.

"Alright just shut the fuck up and stay out of my- Wait how in the fuck did you know that she was going to go find that other emerald...? " Shadow asked getting a bit pissed.

"Heh oh about that... I may have been listening to you both... Heh." Sonic said nervously while backing up a bit.

Shadow just cursed under his breath and just walked into the living room to wait for you.

"Wow... (Y/N) has changed Shadow... " Sonic said while putting his index finger and his thumb on his muzzle.

•Time Skip to you and Shadow looking for the chaos emerald•

"Hey Shadow..? How come Sonic didn't come with us..? " You asked giving Shadow a glance.

"He said that he'd look for the emerald by himself so it could be faster.. " Shadow said as he kept walking, not even giving you a look.

"Ah okay I see.." you said.

•4 hours of non stop searching for the emerald•

"Still no sign of that damn emerald.. " Shadow angrily said.

"Maybe Sonic found it... Oh hold on wait.. " You said turning around in every direction.

You felt a strong force pulling you towards a place you never wanted to go ever again.

The school.

Your heart pace started to speed up as you and Shadow got closer and closer to the school.

You took in a deep breath and exhaled roughly.

"Okay let's do this.. " You said as you ran up to the school gates, not wanting to imagine what awaits you on the other side of the gates.
