Chapter 14:

(Recap)

"What happened?" A paramedic asked. "I don't know, we were at the pool then we went into the bathrooms to change. And I heard my friend Nayeli scream for help. I got out of the stall and she was about to get raped by this guy. Then I took her back to my house, but noticed that my friend hadn't come home. So I came back and I found her unconscious by the bathroom and she was a bleeding mess." I explained.

"We will get here there as soon as possible." He said as they rolled her into the ambulance.

I hope my best friend's are okay. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

(Alyson's POV)

"You ready?" I asked Nayeli as I walked into the house. "Yup, let's go." She said running behind me to the car. "Do you think she'll be okay?" Nayeli asked as we drove to the hospital.

"I hope so," I said keeping my eyes on the road. "I hope they catch who ever did this." Nayeli said. "Don't we all," I said.

(At Hospital)

"Valeria Young?" I asked. "She's currently in surgery, you guys can wait in the waiting room. We will get someone to come get you as soon as she's in a room." She said. We nodded and went into the direction of the waiting room.

We sat down at Nayeli just stared at the white wall in front of us. I don't blame her, she was about to get raped not even an hour ago. And now we were waiting on news on our best friend.

(A- Alyson & B- Shawn)

A- You there?

B- I'm here, are you okay?

A- No....I need you right now. </3

B- What happened, babe?

A- The girls and I were at the pool, and when we went to go change in the bathroom. Nayeli screamed, I got out of the stall and she was about to get raped if I would haven't heard her. Then Valeria was stabbed outside the bathroom, by the same guy that was going to rape Nayeli.

B- Aly, I'm so sorry. I wish I could be there right now. But everything will be okay, Nayeli and Valeria are both strong girls and they will get thru this. You all will. Sending my thoughts and prayers. I love you.

A- Love you too.

(End of Conversation)

I hugged Nay knowing she needed it. We all needed a hug right now, I didn't think while we were out just having a normal day this would have happened.

I guess what people say is true, a normal day can become your worst in an instant.

(An Hour Later)

"Family and friends of Valeria Young," the doctor said and we both got up. "We're her friends," Nayeli said and he told us to follow him.

"Hi guys," Valeria said weakly. "Hey, how you feeling?" I asked walking into the room. "Tired," she said. "Go to sleep, we'll be here when you wake up." Nayeli said and next thing we know Val is out cold.

We spent the rest of the day at the hospital with Val. We were going to leave but the nurse was nice enough to let us stay with her.
