Chapter 27:

(2 Days Later)

(Alyson's POV)

I've always wanted a dog and never got one as a child and today Shawn surprised me and now are at a dog shelter looking at puppies. I've always wanted a husky so we were trying to look for baby huskies.

"Babe, look!" I yelled like a little girl pointing at the perfect husky puppy. "Let's go ask if we can get him," Shawn said and grabbed my hand to go get a worker.

"I'm gonna go sign the paper work," Shawn said while I played with our new puppy, Max. I sat down on the ground and he started licking my face.

Once Shawn came back I grab him by the leash and we started walking back to the car. I put him in the backseat and went around to get into the passengers seat.

"You happy?" Shawn asked. "I couldn't be happier, thank you baby." I said. "Anything for my princess," he said and grabbed my hand.

"I love you,"

"I love you,"

(20 Minites Later)

We just got home and I took Max out to the backyard so he could get familiar with the place. I played some music while we were out here so he could play and stuff. (A/N: Play Chorus to Jet Black Heart by 5 Seconds of Summer)

'Cause I've got a jet black heart, And there's a hurricane underneath it. Trying to keep us apart, I wrote with a poison pen. But these chemicals moving between us, Are the reason to start again.

"Come here, Max!" I said as I called him and he did just that. I started to scratch him just so he could get familiar to me. I let him run around and and kept calling him so he knew that was his name and stuff like that.

Later on Shawn came out and we did the same thing. Ran around with him, called him, and eventually started playing with his toys.

"Do you want anything for dinner?" I asked Shawn. He nodded and I went into the kitchen to make us some pasta. I have been wanting pasta so that's what I made once I saw that I had the ingredients to make it.

(30 Minutes Later)

I had just finished making the pasta when I got a message from Nayeli.

(A- Alyson & N- Nayeli)

N- Hey! What's up?

A- Hey, nothing much.

N- What'd you do today?

A- Shawn and I adopted a puppy.

N- Awe, I can't wait to see the puppy. What type?

A- A husky.

N- Awe! I'll come over in a few days!

A- Sounds good, bring Val too. I miss you guys!

N- We miss you too!

A- Got to go! Talk to you later.

N- Ok, love you!

A- Love you!

I put my phone down and went outside to get Shawn. He brought in Max and put him in his cage while we ate our dinner. "Babe, this is so good!" Shawn said. "Thank you," I said and it was true, it really was.

After dinner, we decided to watch some movies till one of us eventually fell asleep.
