Chapter 40:

(2 Months Later)

(Concert Day)

(Aly's POV)

We were on our way to Wango Tango in LA. We drove up here last night and right now we were just walking to the venue from our hotel.

It was Gracie's first time seeing her daddy on stage. I was so excited to see her reaction and what the fans were to say.

We were in the car driving to where Wang Tango would be held. Shawn was in the car with us and Gracie would leave his side. I know she was excited to see him perform live because she could stop talking about it ever since we told her Shawn was going to be preforming, and that we could go.

"What song do you want to hear daddy sing?" Shawn asked, showing her the setlist. "Mercy," Gracie said. It was a song Shawn had just released and today would be his first time ever preforming it live for his fans and us. We were their when he was in the recording studio hearing him, but this would be a whole lot different.

"I can't wait to hear Bad Reputation," I said and Shawn gave me a grin. Ever since we met and started dating he's known that this song is special to me and has been in my top 3.

We just got to the venue and we were about to go inside but Shawn wanted to take a few pictures with the fans. I took them and Gracie even made an appearance in a few of them as well.

After that we headed into the venue to get something to eat from the food he had in his dressing room while he got ready. He was the 4 performer to go out onto the stage for the night. Gracie and I would be sitting side stage watching him perform. I guess theses are the privileges we get for being the daughter and fiancé of the performer. I still feel weird calling myself Shawn's fiancé than girlfriend, but I love the ring to it.

"Are you nervous?"

"I'm nervous for Mercy, what if they don't like it?"

"Baby, they will. We loved it, I'm a 100% sure your fans will love it. They adore your music, how would they not like this song."

"Thanks babe," Shawn said and leaned over for a kiss and Gracie being Gracie covered her eyes and we laughed.

Gracie and I went to where we were going to be sitting for the show and watched the performances. Then Shawn's name came on the big screen and the crowd including Gracie and I went crazy.

"Hi LA! How you doing tonight!" Shawn yelled into the mic and the crowd of girls just screamed in response. "I have a few songs in mind, but this first one is a little throwback. This is Something Big, enjoy." (A/N: Play Something Big by Shawn Mendes)
