Chapter 49:

(A Month Later)

(Aly's POV)

Today was the day Shawn and I were going to be having our bachelor/bachelorette parties but we were going to have them together. Ever since the events with Gracie we've all been inseparable so we thought this was a good idea. The girls and some of Shawn's good friends who were also his groomsmen were going to be coming over for a little pool party.

I just finished getting ready and right now I was trying to braid Gracie's hair but she wouldn't stay still. "Gracie, don't move!" I said and she just giggled.

We were getting ready to go out, Shawn was already outside with some of our friends. The girls weren't here yet I don't think so it was just Shawn with some of his band mates and good friends of his.

(20 Minutes Later)

"Gracie! Come say hi to your aunts!" I yelled. "Coming, mommy!" She yelled back and I could hear her running from upstairs. I told her she could go swim while Shawn was out there but she wanted to wait till the girls got here.

"Aunt Val, Aunt Nay!" She yelled and hugging both of them. "Hi sweetie," Nayeli said kissing her forehead. "Hi munchkin," Valeria said giving her a hug.

"Why don't you guys go outside, I'll be out there in 5." I said. "Come on, Gracie!" Nay said picking her up and putting her on her hip.

They went to go outside and I could hear the music Shawn was blasting when they opened the door. I finished up cutting the fruit and putting it in a bowl.

I grabbed the bowl and went outside to set it on the table we had set up with drinks and snacks.

"Hey," Shawn said and gave me a peck. All of today he what's been super sweet and I don't know why. But I like it. "Hey," I said back and everyone just awe'd.

We had the best friends ever if I'm being honest, they have been so supportive with us getting engaged and with Gracie. Whenever they think we need some time to ourselves they always offer to watch Gracie for a day or two.

I felt Shawn wrap his arms around my waist, I was thinking he was just going to hug me but then he picks me up. "Shawn! Don't!" I yelled.

"Shawn!"

"Babe!" I yelled once I came back up to the surface. He had thrown me into the pool and I was still fully clothed. He held out his hand to help me out, I took it but I pulled him in. "Aly!" He yelled back and we were now throwing water back and forth.

"Did you guys decide where your going for a honeymoon?" Troy asked. (A/N: I don't know what Shawn's band's names are or if he even has a band. Sorry!)

"I don't know, Shawn booked some place but he doesn't want to tell me." I said holding the towel that Val handed me.

"You will find out soon," he said and pecked my cheek.

"Will Gracie be going to school?" Nay asked playing with Gracie. "We haven't really talked about that, with everything going on, Shawn touring possibly and her Chemo sessions. We will probably either get her a tutor or do school but it will be on and off." I said looking at Shawn and he nodded in agreement.

"What do you want princess?" Shawn asked.

"Tutor!" She said and I was pretty sure she wasn't sure what that was. We all laughed at her cuteness.

"Tutor it is!" I said.

"Yay!"
