Chapter 28: Violet- Discoveries.

The next morning when I woke up, thankfully there were no attacks last night. But Bryn and Nicolette did have dark circles under their eyes. As we traveled that day, I noticed something about Maia.  It was something that all galaxy mages could sense, at least that’s what I heard anyways.

Luckily we managed to get closer to the towers, with no attacks, or rude remarks from Alex or Victorie. Soon later night fell and we started to set up camp for the night.  During the process, I looked at the direction of the Kingdom of Stars and got a bit homesick. Judging by the time of day, I assumed they were playing a concert right about now. Probably in the process of Tokyo House Party, I sighed deeply and imagined the Kingdom right now.  I pictured the sky, right above the concert, the stars facing the guys right now. I’m safe, I pictured the stars writing out, and, I miss you all.

In the Kingdom of Stars, the band were playing a concert. Just as Violet suspected. Even though they had smiles on their faces, and happiness in their attitudes. They were still sad, missing Violet, and worrying for her safety.

Over the years, the guys and Violet had developed a deep bond. Almost as if they were family.

Besides, this was the first time they had been apart in years.

As Tom was singing Tokyo House Party, he suddenly stopped. As did the rest of the band. Leo’s drumsticks fell to the ground, Alex and Kogie’s hands let go of their guitars, them dangling by straps. The crowd started to yell, questioning why they had stopped.  Tom simply grabbed the microphone once again stating the concert was cancelled for the night.

Because just as soon as those words appeared, they disappeared just as fast.  Only the band saw the words, and only they knew who wrote them.

“Hey, Maia, could I talk to you for a bit?” I asked.

“Sure, what about?” She asked.

“Well, there is this really cool thing that all galaxy mages can do. They can sense when a lunar mage or a celestial mage is around.” I said. “Each has this certain aura around them. A lunar mages is a white, while a celestial mages is a light blue in colour.”

“Yeah… Continue.” Maia said curiously.

“And, there so happens to be a lunar mage here. Yet, they don’t know it.” I said with a smirk.

“Okay… So who is it?”

“Look up.” I said gesturing to the sky. Maia did and I flicked my hand at the sky.  The stars arranged themselves into an ‘M’ pattern.  Maia gasped and looked at me, a look of shock on her face.

“No, seriously?!” She exclaimed.

“Yep! You’re a lunar mage girl!”

Later on that evening I helped Maia practice a bit, the others were excited for her, as I suspected. I fell asleep later that night, while Victorie, Lotte, Kade and Moss kept watch.

In the other Kingdoms, much like the Kingdom of Stars, the rulers were worried.

Queen Zoeya stayed in the castle more often, constantly gazing out the window.  King Rythian stayed by her side more often, trying to keep her calm. But it was to no avail, each day she became sadder and sadder, she missed Tess.

King Toby was stressed, King Littlewood had just locked himself in his room, in preparation for the winter change. King Toby missed Lilac, as did King Littlewood. The two missed heading outside the castle, walking around, chatting with the residents. But King Littlewood couldn’t risk the chance of any of the residents finding out about him. Whenever he walked, little snowflakes would fall off of him. Making King Toby the only one anyone could speak to.

Queen Lomadia and King Xephos hadn’t changed much. Except for one thing, King Xephos had made it his duty to visit Alex’s sister, Eve, each day. Making sure she’s okay, and coping with the situation well. He would tell her tales, of him and his friends before the Kingdoms were established.  Eve was full of laughter and smiles, and didn’t think about her brother. Which was a good thing.

King Nilesy was a bit sad, but he didn’t know Bryn or Nicolette much. All he knew was that he wanted them to be safe. In the meantime he was planning ways to joke around with Ravs.

King Mitch and King Jerome on the other hand, were worried, sad and frustrated all at the same time. King Mitch paced around his bedroom, refusing to leave the castle. King Jerome wouldn’t leave his room, in fear of people seeing him, or getting hurt. And without Victorie to heal him, he was stuck with the normal healing process.

King Swift was upset. He was so looking forward to teaching and working with Kade privately. He wasn’t expecting this, King Swift knew it was coming, but he hoped it wouldn’t be him.  The King wasn’t as lively as usual and others were starting to worry. He told them he was fine, but his closest friends could see right through his lies.

But, all the rulers had one thing in common.

Hope.
