Chapter 30: Lilac- The Towers.

"Liliac! You need to wake up now!" A voice yelled. I woke up quickly and saw Alex shaking me awake.

"What happened?!" I asked.

"We were attacked last night. Some of us, well. You can see for yourself." Alex said. I looked around and saw half of our team was missing.

"Aerith, she's gone." I said sadly. "Wait, who else is gone?"

"Take a look," I looked around and saw Ace sitting on the ground, his head in his hands, Tess obviously missing. Maia was missing as well, her bag still on the ground where she slept last night.  Nicolette was looking off towards the towers, one of her hands in a fist. Lotte was staring at the ground, a depressed look on her face. Kade was sitting on the ground, his knees brought up to his chest. Honour was sitting down as well, she rubbed her eyes and sniffled.

"Whoever did this is going to pay." Ace said.  

"It has to be someone in the towers." Lotte said.

"We're going there, now. And we are getting our friends back." I said. Standing up, I gripped my bow.  The rest of us gathered our things and we walked to the towers. There were seven of them, one for each Kingdom.  I looked at my tower, Aerith was in there somewhere, and I was going to get her back. A scream rang out from one of the towers. We all looked towards the scream, and Honour pointed to where it came from.

"That was Tess. I just know it." Honour said.

"If they hurt her, they'll wish they had never started this in the first place." Ace growled.

"Come on, let's go and get our friends back." We all walked to the doors of our respected towers. I grabbed the door handle and walked inside. I entered into a white room, made of bricks it seemed. There was a figure, there back to me, but up in the corner I saw a cage, almost like a bird cage, but human sized. The figure in the cage looked familiar.

"Aerith?" I said. The figure turned around and a shocked look was upon their face. It was Aerith.

"Lilac! You need to get out of here!" She shouted.

"Oh hello Lilac, prepared to die?" The voice asked. It sounded familiar in a sense. The person turned around and I was greeted with a man, or so I thought. It was a dark shadow, with glowing yellow eyes. I grabbed an arrow from my quiver and notched the arrow.

"Why do you sound like him?!" I yelled.

"Like who my dear?" The person, shadow thing asked with almost a sincere look on its face.

"Why do you sound like Toby!" I yelled once again, tears forming in my eyes. "He would never do this!" I released the arrow and it flew, straight into the shadow creatures left eye. It hit the creature, but the shadows parted around it, and the arrow embedded itself in the wall. That isn't going to work. Guess it's up to hand to hand combat. I threw my bow to the ground, and took off my quiver.

"You're not going to get away from this. Not unharmed at least." I warned. "I'm going to get you out of there Aerith. But first, this guy is going to get hurt."
