Two weeks. What was going on with Max? Dove growled at her laptop when she saw the only emails she got were notifications from Youtube and the school telling her what was going on that week at school. A new sadness was growing in the pit of her stomach and she had been having quite a few anxiety attacks lately, and for stupid reasons too. Half of the time, there was no reason. She would just start freaking out and then afterward, she would take out anger on her mom. She didn't try to, but it just happened that way. And having Max not answering her email hurt her. And not like just a little pinch, but a gunshot in her gut.
She rolled her eyes and sucked up her hurt feelings so she could type out yet another email just to have no response.
'Dear Max,
School has been kind of boring. It's been the same thing for the past two weeks. Oh, speaking of two weeks, where are you? Did anything happen that you want to talk about? I feel like you don't want to talk to me anymore. Did I do anything wrong?
Please email me back when you have the chance and when you get this. I really miss you.
Yours truly,
Dove.'
Dove debated whether to send it or not and when the better part of her won, she pressed the send button and then quickly shut off her laptop. Max was pissing her off more and more every passing day.
