Dove returned home and collapsed on her bed once she had. Her mother decided to stop off at an old friends house, but because of that, Dove was home alone. She didn't want to call on her boyfriend to come over because she didn't feel like being touched by him. Something about such a simple action made her shiver, but in the worst way possible. She felt violated and that her body was more his than her's. Did that make sense? Dove didn't know for sure. All she knew was that she didn't want him to show up at her house and start forcing her to make out with him.
To be honest, Dove loved being kissed and testing this new ground. She never had before. But the meaning behind the kisses and anything else with her boyfriend was nothing. She felt nothing but fear and shame whenever he touched her, or kissed her. She felt like she was making a mistake and that in a matter of hours, she'd regret it. And every single time they finished making out, she'd feel sick. The single thought of him with his tongue in her mouth caused her to gag.
She didn't love him.
But what other choice did she have?
