Dimitri's POV

I opened the door to find Rose unconscious in the bathtub and empty sachets of pills strewn about the bathroom. My mind went into overdrive.

In the blink of an eye I was sitting Rose up in the bathtub, I stuck my fingers down her throat triggering her gag reflex. She began to cough. I reached for my phone out of my pocket and dialled for an ambulance.

Please be okay.

Rose's POV

I thought it was the end before I woke in a spirit dream. I prepared myself to see Adrian but I was surprised when I found Scott.

"What the actual fuck are you doing Rosie!" he yelled. "How could you do this?"

His body was transparent and his voice sounded more like an echo than an actual voice. "What's going on?" I asked as he wrapped my body in a hug.

"You're dying, your organs are shutting down, why would you do this? I sacrificed myself so that you could have a long and happy life."

"I don't want a life where you don't exist Scott." I said.

"Then I died for nothing?" he replied unwrapping his hands from around me.

"We can be together, Scott," I said, reaching for his hands.

"No," he said pulling away, "I will never forgive myself."

"What?" I said.

"It's my fault that you're here," he whispered.

"Scott." My eyes followed his behind me. There was a door, no walls, no roof or windows. Just a door. "What the hell?" I said.

"You have a choice," was all he said.

"What do you mean?" I said.

"That door only appears if you have a choice, someone is trying to save you," he whispered.

"Do you know who?" I asked.

He looked down at me through his long lashed eyes, "Dimitri." I looked away from him. "He really loves you Rosie."

"Well, I love you," I said.

"I love you too," he said, "But you love him as well."

"No," I replied.

"You can't lie to me Rosie, I know you and I know that you are still in love with him." I was silent. "Just go with him, please. You deserve to be happy."

"I am happy. Happy here with you."

"You deserve to live. You've finally got your daughter back. Please."

"I'm not leaving." I said.

"Yes you are," he whispered. He leaned forward and pressed a kiss to my forehead.

"Don't tell me what to do," I said pushing him away. "I'm not going anywhere."

"You're being given a third chance and you're giving it up."

"To be with you."

"Don't do this to yourself," he said cupping my face, "Please baby. Do it for you. And if you don't want to do it for you do it for me. Live a long and happy life. I'll always be waiting."

"I can't live without you."

"Yes, yes you can." He cupped the sides of my face with his hands and placed a delicate and lingering kiss to my lips. "I will always be waiting."

He took my hand and walked by my side as he led me to the door. "I love you, Rosemary Hathaway."

"I love you, so, so much." I said.

I stepped through the door and a blinding flash of light surrounded me. I opened my eyes to be met with his dark brown ones.
