Let me tell you a story
Of a girl I once knew
The moment she closed her eyes
She entered a world new

In reality she was a student
Grinding it out with a frown
In the circus of engineering
She was just another clown

But that was just her mask
The real girl lived inside
Who wrote her heart out
And took the readers for a ride

A ride in the love's boat
A ride to the fantasy lands
A ride through harsh reality
A ride with magical wands

Many asked her how
"How do you write this all?
When you're just a simple girl
You haven't lived any of it at all."

How wrong were the people
To think of her as simple
How wrong were the people
To not look beyond her dimples

The moment she closed her eyes
She entered a fairy world
Every night in her dreams
She was a free bird

She fell in love there
With a handsome prince charming
She lived her fantasy there
To talk with an alien dancing

She was a bold woman there
Standing tall against injustice
She learned her magic there
As she tried to bend her trees

The moment she closed her eyes
She was a different girl
Every night in her dreams
She let her thoughts swirl

Every story that she wrote
She lived in her dreams

She dreamt them in her dreams...

"We may look lost and simple to the people, but when we sit to write, we weave the worlds none has ever seen. We're not those lost people, we're the dreamy writers."

Also, just think about this.

If we writers can enter a fantasy land in our dreams, what happens if we sleep in one of our dreams?

You know, we dream in our dreams.

What world would we enter then?
