"Memories"

Let me start with a quick note
This is the story of my life
I don't really care what you say
I just want to end this strife

Do you believe in this thing called destiny?
Do you await that special someone
Maybe your friends make up your life
Yet, sometimes you crave for one

So tell me my wattpad friend
Is it true what I see...I feel?
Will she say her farewell too soon?
Or will she say love me and seal the deal

Does she even know what I feel for her?
Or am I stuck with a false promise?
So many questions out there to be asked
Yet my friend, there are no worries

As I know the girl, she's so strong
I try everyday to be like her
Just fly away my heart screams
But I end up writing a poem to love her

I spread the colors with a pen in hand
To adore the heart of the little girl
Will you believe me when I say
That somewhere, even her heart flutters

She asks me this quick questions everyday
And I assure her that it's just you and me
What are you afraid of I ask her back
"Stop crying and let your heart see"

Love and lust are just marginally different
And she's the girl who's seen them both
She says, "I'm the last act of your play"
But no my poetess, note my words

Our story will be eternal, 'he and she'
I don't know if we'll ever meet again
But you'll always remember there was a boy
Who loved you so much but still gave you pain

Yes my friend, I hurt her a lot
And the worst of it was the day I chose
Instead of texting a sweet Happy Birthday
I sent her a breakup letter with a red rose

So tell me my friend
Will destiny play a hand
Will we ever meet again
Or will it be the end?

Even if she decides to quit
She'll always be etched in my memories
She's that chapter of my life
Which will always stay there in my memories
