You have a bad dream
You wake up startled
In the dead of the night
Your house is being burgledBut that's just in dreams
Reality is different
Darkness just prevails around
You get up with a gruntYou set out in the darkness
To search for those thieves
While your eyes still droop
Their lost sleep they grieveFor almost an hour
You roam around the house
By the time your bed calls
Sun's begun to arouseWith your half baked sleep
You curse those bad dreams
Make a steaming cup of tea
And dip cookies with some creamThe day looms agead
But the dream ain't forgotten
You keep thinking over it
Your mood all rottenSo tell me my friends
Why do we dream?
And even if we do
Why do we remember those dreams? Why?
