12. Giving Up Love

Recap: And Jungkook did just that.

Yoongi was sitting in the waiting room dazed by everything that just happened. He had blood stains on his shirt and his eyes were puffy from crying. Jungkook sat quietly beside him not sure what to say. He would take glances at Yoongi who looked emotionless. Jungkook bit his lip thinking about what to say.

"He'll be fine-"

"I know he will be. He's too stubborn to die."

Jungkook lightly chuckled at the comment. "So what's with the emotionless look?"

"H-He said he fell for me as in- well you know." Yoongi looked down at his lap, his face scrunching up in pain at the memory.

"Isn't that a good thing? I thought you liked him too?" Jungkook frowned in confusion.

"You don't get it, Jungkook. You wouldn't get it." Yoongi whispered.

"Maybe if you explained it I could." Jungkook knew he was walking on thin ice.

Yoongi snapped his head up to look at Jungkook. "I've killed people, Jungkook. Many people. Someone like Jimin shouldn't be with someone like me. A murder."

Jungkook didn't know what to say. He knew Yoongi killed people, but the anger in his voice was frightening. Yoongi chuckled coldly. "I told you you wouldn't get it."

Silence took over both boys. Jungkook didn't want to upset the older more than he already has. Yoongi didn't know why he felt so broken and distraught. "Yoongi and Jungkook?" A nurse in white came from behind a door.

Yoongi immediately stood up and walked towards the nurse Jungkook not far behind. "That's us." Yoongi spoke. The nurse smiled at them before speaking. "He's perfectly fine and you can visit him now, but he's sleeping so I advise that only one of you head into his room for now."

Yoongi looked at Jungkook who just nodded as if telling him he could go in. "I'll stay out here. If you need me-well you won't but, you know where i'll be." Jungkook walked away to find a seat.

The nurse held the door open for Yoongi. He walked into the room nervously. The door shut behind him and he was alone in the same room with a tube filled Jimin was. His heart rate monitter was at a decent pace somehow calming Yoongi.

Yoongi went to sit in the chair that was right next to Jimin's bed. He licked his lips still feeling nervous as he watched the younger boy sleep. Not knowing what he should do he just sat there quitely waiting patiently for Jimin to wake up.

They younger would move around in his sleep every now and then making the clothes he was wearing rise up far enough for Yoongi to see the blood stained bandage. Yoongi tried his best not to look at it but, he couldn't help but feel sadness even when he wasn't looking.

"He shot one of your memebers," Someone spoke quitely.

"I'm well aware of that," Jin snapped angrily.

"Do you not remember? If another assasin hurts another assasin's member in any physical way you get any wish granted no matter how cruel it is." The younger boy explained.

Jin's eyes widened in surprise remembering the rumors he's heard. Namjoon watched Jin questioningly. "Any wish?" Jin asked to clarify the situation.

"Anything."

Jin spoke with all his emotions collided together. "None of us will be part of this anymore. We won't be assasin's, just normal people."

"You will never be normal. Some of you have killed people, but if that is your wish we'll pretend as if every meeting and every encounter we've had with you is nonexisting." Another man from the crowd spoke.

"Good." Seokjin said begining to walk away.

After a few seconds of trying to comprehend everything that just happened the other three boys followed Seokjin who was heading to where they assumed was the hospital Yoongi had raced Jimin off to.

It was quite when they entered the building since it was so late but, many nurses were tending to the people in the hospital that had a room of their own for many unwanted reasons. Seokjin caught a glimpse of Jungkook sitting in the waiting room playing with the zipper on his jacket.

"Jungkook," Seokjin spoke quitely.

Jungkook stood up once he noticed his group of friends and walked over to the small group slightly smiling. "Hi," Jungkook said quitely.

"How is everything?" Taehyung questioned.

"Jimin's okay and Yoongi-" Jungkook paused. "He's okay too but, he's not -"

"Not what?" Seokjin asked.

"He likes Jimin. Like, likes like, Jimin. I can tell and when I talked to him he didin't deny his feelings. But, he doesn't think Jimin should be with a murder is what he said."Jungkook sighed sadly.

"He cares about him too much and giving up love isn't easy." Jungkook continued. "I don't think talking to him will work either. He's being extremley stubborn as usual."

Seokjin just nodded understanding and they all went to go take a seat in the waiting room. It was quite. They were all scared to break the silence. Wishing the best for Jimin and Yoongi didn't seem any where near enough.
