Morgan's POV

I got back to the hotel and I quickly ran up to the room that I was assigned. Yes, I got called up to the USWNT and so did JJ. Which I was thankful for because I needed her to be around especially because Kelley was here.

Now, I didn't mean to go knocking on Kelley's door, it was a mistake. I had read the wrong room number and I have never felt more embarrassed in my entire life. And when she was chasing me all I could feel was heart break. It was that same feeling all over again.

When I found the room I was supposed to be in, I pulled my bags and walked inside. I saw a girl laying on her bed. She looked up at me and smiled as she got up and walked over to me.

"You must be Morgan! I'm Christen Press." She says as she extends her hand out for me to shake. I shake her hand as I look down at the floor unable to make eye contact. "I guess we're roommates, here let me help you unpack." She says and she did.

When we were finished we sat on our beds and we got to know each other. She played soccer at Stanford with Kelley and hearing her name made my heart hurt so bad. I felt like throwing up.

"You okay?" She asks probably reading the expression on my face.

"Yeah." I say as I manage to force a smile. Just as I was about to say something the door bursts open. I see Kelley standing in the doorway with Alex right behind her. I look away as Christen smiles up at them but I refused to look at Kelley.

"Morgan..." she calls out my name and the way she said my name had shivers running down my spine. I finally find the courage to stand up to face the girl who I broke down my walls for. The girl I used to trust.

The girl that I still love.

"Just tell her, Kelley." I hear Alex say who stood behind Kelley. Kelley looks back at Alex and I grew even more nervous. I look over at Christin who looked confused. I guess I was going to give her a huge explanation afterwards.

"Tell me what?" I ask. Kelley looks at as if she was about to say something but nothing came out.

"I... I don't know. Just forget it." Kelley tells me as she starts to walk away but I surprise myself as I grab her arm.

"You are not getting off that easily. So, tell me what?" I ask. More of a demand than a question if you ask me. Kelley looks back at Alex. I know that Christen was about to ask me a bunch of questions when they all leave and I wasn't sure if I was prepared to answer them.

"Just tell her." Alex says again but Kelley stood there speechless and I grew even more anxious.

"Morgan... I'm sorry, okay I really am-"

"I trusted you!"

"I told you that you can still trust me!" Kelley says back.

"Then why don't you say whatever it is that you've been meaning to tell me." I say as I fight back the tears as best as I can.

"Morgan.. just forget about it." She tells me. "It's not like you're going to believe me. You said it yourself, you can't trust me, so what's the point?"

"I used to tell you everything, Kelley. Now you're giving me all this shit?" I ask.

"You don't get to make me feel guilty." Kelley whispers. "Not this time." She turns around and walks off, Alex following her. Just like that, I let her go. I drop to the ground in sobs, Christen sitting down next to me.

"I thought she was going to tell me that she still loves me. I really thought I would get another chance at being with her." I say as I wipe away the tears.

"I met her a few months back, she was my coach and something about her drew me to her. I opened up to her, I tore down my walls for her and I loved her and I still am because I never really stopped. Then she left and here we are." I say wiping away the last tears.

Hey guys! I need your help!
I guess I like to plan early so I have something to look forward too after this story is done. Of course I am planning on writing another USWNT fanfic once this story is complete and I need your help with who the main charters will be.

I've done 3 Talex ones and I guess I need different ships so please choose one of the following...

Alex Morgan & Rose Lavelle
Kealia Ohai & Alex Morgan
Rose Lavelle & Kelley O'Hara

Thanks and happy reading!
