Secret love-Kevin x Jughead

Kevin and Jughead are engaged but instead of telling Archie they keep it a secret to try and trick him.

3rd POV-

Kevin parks the car in Pop's Chock'lit shoppe's parking lot. "Let's go see Archie."

"But Archie's weird. Very weird." Jughead whines, pouting at Kevin.

"Yeah I know, but you're forgetting he's Archie." Kevin laughed kissing his pouting lips.

"Fine. We did come back to Riverdale to tell people about you know what." Jughead said, tracing the engagement ring on Kevin's finger.

Kevin smiled and blushed as he looked at it. "Exactly he's one of those people we need to tell."

"He'll say I told you so. He was weirdly obsessed with us dating in high school." Jughead pouted again at a grinning Kevin Keller (soon to be Keller-Jones).

"I know he's strange. Should we play a trick on him then?" Kevin smiled.

"What are you suggesting?" Jughead asked.

"We can pretend like we don't like each other."

"But that means I can't kiss you." Jughead complained.

"Mm true. But it would be funny." Kevin smiled.

"Okay but don't take off your ring. Just to see how long it'll take for him to notice." Jughead said. "And you need to kiss me now."

"I'd never take it off, you know that." Kevin smiled, kissing him.

"You're making me blush. Come on, we're late."

"Fine." Kevin smiled kissing him one more time before getting out of the car.

The couple entered Pop's and spotted Archie in the booth they used to sit in during their time in High School. Taking advantage of his turned back, they kissed before tapping his shoulder.

"Hi Archibald."

"Oh Kevin, Forsythe it's good to see you!" He smiled hugging each of them.

"Is been too long." Jughead agreed. Despite his loudness and diva style he was good friends with Archie.

"I know I miss it. But you guys remember each other too yeah?" Archie asked looking at them.

"Who Jughead? Yeah I do." Kevin smiled.

"We share an apartment." Jughead added.

"Seriously?" Archie said surprised.

"Yeah we're pretty close." Kevin said drinking his coffee with his ring hand.

"That's sweet. You too were always so close in high school." Archie said.

"Yeah we still are now." Kevin smiled at him.

"Really? That's cute."

"Yeah it is." Kevin smiled.

"Are you guys in any relationships?" Archie asked sipping his hot chocolate.

"Do tell him Jughead." Kevin smirked trying to show off his ring to Archie.

"Wait, no, let me guess." Archie interrupted.

"Go ahead Archie."

"It's complicated isn't it or something? Oh wait are you two?" Archie asked, thinking.

Kevin just smiled to himself.

"Okay, my final guess is you're single." Archie pointed to Jughead. "And you're dating someone?" He pointed to Kevin. "And there is chemistry between you two."
