"Mommy! Daddy! Hurry up!" Harmony Andrews called, running up and down the hallway.
"Archiekins, did you give Har your coffee again?" Cheryl asked, watching her hyperactive daughter run around.
Archie appeared from their bedroom looking guilty. "She gave me puppy eyes."
"She's seven sweetie. No more coffee." Cheryl said sternly.
"But she's so cute." Archie said, "okay no more coffee." He promised under his wife's glare.
"Good."
Harmony skipped over to her parents. "Daddy. When are we going?" She asked holding up her arms to be picked up.
Hugging his curly haired daughter (she was all Cheryl, bright curly ginger hair, light brown eyes and tiny frame) Archie answered. "Ten minutes. Get your backpack honey. And Elijah."
"Yes daddy." Harmony said, running to her brother's room.
"She's so excited." Archie commented.
"She's going to Disney for the first time, of course Harmony's excited." Cheryl said. "Eli was too."
"He's fourteen and he's been to Disney three times. It's not fair."
"Wow and I thought we had two children." Cheryl teased. "But I guess I'm stuck with you now."
"Such romance." Archie said smiling. He leaned over and kissed his wife's cheek.
"Ready." Elijah called. "Harmony isn't though. Why are girls so difficult?"
"We need to go in five minutes." Archie knocked on his daughter's door. "Har, you need to get ready now."
"Are we going now?" Harmony asked, bouncing up and down on her feet.
Archie laughed happily at his daughter's actions. "Yes Har. Go get your coat."
"Yay!" She squealed, running out, clutching her Meredith doll close.
"I'm exhausted. Why did we decide to have kids again?"
Archie rested his head on his wife's shoulder. "No idea. They're asleep now."
Their son and daughter slept, Elijah lying on the couch with his little sister curled up on his chest.
Cheryl smiled. "We love them."
"True." Archie smiled too, looking at his family. "Come on, bed."
"Love you."
"Love you too Cheryl."
"Daddy?" Harmony pulled on Archie's sleeve, getting his attention.
"Yes Har?"
"Will there be princesses?"
"Yes there will sweetheart."
Harmony smiled wider. "All of them?"
"Yes. Who's your favourite?" Archie asked, smiling at his daughter. She was at the stage where she was constantly asking questions, which was usually cute though occasionally annoying.
"Meredith. She's the prettiest. And she looks like mommy."
"You're very pretty too Har." Archie said, taking her hand.
"Yeah but Elijah is prettier. I wish I looked more like him." Harmony admitted. "But it's a secret."
"Okay then, secret. And you are very pretty. And best of all you remind me of my favourite person."
"Mommy's your favourite person?" Harmony asked. "More than your dad and friends and us?"
"I love all of you. And I love your mommy more than everyone else in the world. It's why I married her." Archie squeezed Harmony's hand.
"She's your Disney princess."
"She is."
Hopping from one foot to the other, Harmony beamed at her parents.
"Mommy, Daddy, we're here."
"You excited honey?" Archie asked.
"Yeah, I wanna see the princesses."
"Come on then." Cheryl took her daughter's hand and squeezed her husband's tight whilst Elijah walked in front of them.
"You're shaking. Did daddy give you coffee again?" Cheryl asked Harmony.
"I did not!" Archie proclaimed.
"Mulan!" Harmony called, spotting the Asian princess. "Can I go talk to her?"
"Go ahead sweetie." Cheryl said, watching her youngest child run towards the princess.
In that moment, Cheryl realised she had the perfect family. A loving husband and two children she loved with all her heart.
