Christmas Time-Jarchie

(All the gang are adults and only Reggie and Veronica have a child. BTW Kevin is straight and is married to Betty)

Archie's POV-

"Juggie where's the turkey? I mean it's kinda the main meal." I asked while we were at the grocery store. It was Christmas in a few days and all of our friends were coming and staying at our house for a few days.

"That's what we need." He said remembering it. Everyone was bringing a dish. Jughead and I were in charge of turkey and drinks, Polly was in charge of macaroni and cheese. Betty and Kevin were in charge of the vegetables, Cheryl was in charge of mashed potatoes, Reggie and Veronica were in charge of ham and gravy, Jellybean was bringing dinner rolls, FP and Mrs Jones were bringing yams and my mom and dad were bringing dessert. Once we're checked out of the store, we started to drive home.

AT HOME

Jughead got a call right as we got home.

"Hello? Yes. This is him. Oh my...That's great, thank you so much." He said and hung up the phone.

"Care to explain?"

"We're getting a baby!" He exclaimed.

"Seriously?" I asked, not believing it.

"You bet." I ran over to him and we hugged and kissed.

"Oh my god. We are actually going to have a child of our own!" I said. I was going to be a father.

AN HOUR LATER

Guests were about to show up any minute. We had the turkey placed around the table and a chair at each plate. We had to put two tables together though. Thank god our dining room is huge.

There was a knock on the door which brought me from my trance. It was Betty and Kevin.

"Archie, Jughead, it's so good to see you." Kevin said. We hugged both of them and Jughead put the vegetables on the table. Then came Polly and Cheryl. Next was Reggie and Veronica with their son Alex, and then Jellybean. Next came FP and Gladys. And then it was my mom and dad. I noticed something different about Betty but I couldn't figure out what it was.

AT DINNER

"Guys, I need to tell you something." Betty said. We all looked up. Kevin stood up too. "I'm pregnant."

"That's great!" I said and hugged her. Everyone started hugging each other.

"We also have something to announce." Jughead said.

"We're getting a baby." I said.

"But I thought guys couldn't get pregnant. Didn't we just go through that Ronnie?" Reggie said.

"No we're not pregnant. We got a call from the adoption agency. There's a woman who is willing to give us her baby." Jughead said.

"That's great son. Do you know the sex?" FP asked.

"No. All we know is that they are healthy." I said. We continued to eat dinner until we went to the Christmas tree and started opening presents. I got Jughead a new S shirt because his 'mysteriously' went missing when we moved house. Okay maybe I just wanted him to be shirtless more often.

"Archie, how did you get this? I looked everywhere online, in every store ever, and they didn't have it." Jughead asked.

"I know people." I said. Jughead looked at me suspiciously. "Don't worry. It's not illegal."

"Archie, open Alex's present." Ronnie said. I opened it and laughed. Everyone looked at me. I held it up and it was a replica of the Letterman jacket I wore in high school but on the back it said 'Jarchie Forever'.

"That's so cute! Thank you so much little man! Here Alex, this is from me and Jughead." I passed the five year old the gift. It was a superman shirt that said 'My daddy is my hero' on the back. He ran up to me and Jughead and hugged us both.

"Jug. Here is a gift from your mother and I." FP said. It was a new whoopee cap. I guess FP and Gladys found out that I ripped his old one.

"Thanks mom and dad." We all opened presents together and had a lot of fun. Then we decided to put a Christmas movie on. After some arguments about whether to watch miracle on 34th street or Home Alone, we finally agreed on Home Alone. All the couples were snuggled up together on the couch and floor. Veronica and Reggie were on the couch with Alex placed on his dad's lap and Ronnie had her head in the crook of Reggie's neck. Betty and Kevin were cuddling on the couch too and they were sneaking kisses every so often. The rest of the couples were doing the same thing expect for FP and Gladys where Gladys was asleep leaning against FP. Jughead was leaning on my shoulder and my arm was around him. Best Christmas ever.
