Second update for today whoop

I'm home all alone and I'm eating milk chocolate chips out of a bag and listening to punk  rock music. My day has been made.

I think this is the last chapter where they're in their Sophomore year. Yeah. Oh, and for anyone who doesn't know about the American grading system or whatever, Freshman is your first year of high school, Sophomore is your second, Junior's third, and Senior's fourth.

K, enjoy.

-Jolene-

Today was Saturday morning. Yesterday, my second day of school, was fun. I couldn't find Ashton, or Mikey, and Calum, and the girl I still haven't met, Jessica, were sick. Luke and I had walked to school together, and we hung out pretty much all day with Mackenzie. At lunch and in the morning, I hung out with Carly, Tommy, and a few others I have yet to know the name of. Cheer leading try outs were canceled because the coaches had a meeting, and were now set for Monday.

After going to the mall with Carly today, she drove me home. She wanted to see my apartment and everything. I texted Luke the whole drive, and he was saying how he missed his little green eyed Alaska. He sent me a picture with a pout face and I laughed out loud, receiving an odd look from Carly back. I sent a pout face back saying that I missed my bestie  back.

Yes, Luke was considered my best friend. Thursday night after I got off the phone with him and then soon ended the call with Carly, I called him back immediately, and I actually ended up going over to his apartment to watch some movies and eat pizza. His mom was really cool, she seemed to like me. We haven't stopped talking since, except for most times when I hung out with the 'populars', as he referred to them. He sent a smiley face in return and I told him I'd talk to him later when I was free.

We pulled up to my apartment building, and we both grabbed our bags and headed up to my room. "Make your self at home Carls." I said, using her nickname when we walked in.

"Ugh, just call me Carly!" she laughed. She actually wasn't as bad as the first day I'd met her. She was funny and actually seemed really sweet, but she did still have a few rude moments.

"Okay, okay. Hey, do you want a soda?" I asked, walking over to the fridge. She said yes, and looked around the apartment. She stopped at on of my brothers paintings and looked at them.

"This is so cool." she stated, looking over the bright colors on the canvas. She started to look around the rest of the small living room and plopped down onto the bright red couch. I got two sodas out and told her to follow me into my room. She did, and when we got into my room she freaked out. "Oh my god Jolene! This is so coo! I love the lights. Oh my gosh, that's such a cool picture. Ugh, I want your room. What the hell, you have a freaking window wall?" she said walking over quickly to the massive window.

"Uh, yeah," I laughed. "My room really isn't that great. I still have so much to unpack." I told her, walking over to my closet.

"Want me to help? We could try to figure out your outfit for the party." she asked. See, there was the nice part of her coming out a bit.

"Oh my god, yes. I'm so excited for it tonight! I have no clue what to wear though. I was thinking maybe that blue dress that I just got. Or maybe some tight skinnys and a tank."

"Oh, I'm sure Tommy would like that." she said. I gave her a questioning look.

"Wait, but I thought you and him were dating?" I asked.
