Hello Everyone! This oneshot takes place seventh year, and is from Lily's POV. If you have any one shots you want me to write, please comment them here. I got this idea for pinterest.
"Lily, that meeting was B-O-R-I-N-G!" James complained as we walked back to our common room, coming from the Head's meeting with the prefects.
"James. How on earth are we supposed to make telling prefects when and when not to dock points interesting?" I asked him, slightly rolling my eyes. His face brightened. "What?"
"I haven't gotten used to you calling me James." James said, slightly grinning in a quite charming way. James had matured this year, leading to us becoming friends. He wasn't the git he was in 5th year anymore.
"Well, get used to it, James. James. James. James. JAMES. JAMES. JAMES!" I was nearly shouting by the end, doubling over in laugher.
"Lily. Lily. Lily. Lily. LILY. LILY. LILY!" James mocked back. "Well, here we are." We had arrived back at our common room. Still laughing, the pair of us walked inside. We stopped by the stairway, alone in the room. I looked up, our eyes meeting. The room seemed a lot hotter all of a sudden. I looked away, embarrassed. I still remember the time last year, when James kissed me in the hallway alone. (Last chapter) After that, he stopped asking me out. Started being fine with just being my friend. I could still feel James's eyes on me.
"Well, I should go to bed." I mumbled, but made no move to leave. I looked back up, and James's eyes seemed to argue over something, then was determined.
"Well, Goodnight, Lily." James said, then took a step forward, and kissed me again.
I reacted instantly. My mind exploded. We broke apart after possibly serval nights.
"James, will you go out with me?" I asked.
"Never thought we'd be hear, but yes." James laughed, along with me. I kissed him again, and said,
"Well, I really must go." And I went upstairs, and fell asleep smiling.
