Tris pov

Brian is such a happy baby boy. I still haven't gone back to work because I'm just not ready to be back at the place where I was raped. Tobias goes to work still while I stay at home with Brian.
Right now I sit on the couch with Brian in my arms, rocking him back and forth so he can go to sleep. It's 10 o'clock at night and Tobias is still not home.
He's been coming home late a lot these past few days and he's always blaming it on work and football practices.
Once Brian is asleep I put him in his crib so he can sleep the rest of the night. Then as I'm walking to the kitchen to get a drink of water Tobias walks through the front door.
He walks in and sees me and sighs.
"What are you doing up" he ask me
"I just got Brian down. He didn't want to fall asleep" I say
Tobias and I haven't been at the best terms lately. We argue a lot and never agree on anything anymore.
"Why have you been coming home late" I ask him
"Just work stuff" he says and I sigh
"Yeah right" I say taking my water and walking away. I go to our room and sit on our bed.
Tobias walks in and sits next to my feet.
"I'm going to ask you something so please just tell me the truth" I say to him
"Okay" he says back
"Are you cheating on me" I ask him quietly
He takes a few seconds to answer then takes a deep breath and looks at me.
"I'm sorry Tris. It just happened" he says
"But you did it anyway" I say
"It will never happen again" he says coming closer to me but I get up and step away from him.
"Who was it" I ask
"Tris can we just get pass this" he says
"Who was it" I say again a little louder
"Sarah Matthews mom" he says and I bend down to the floor and cry.
He cheated on me with a students mother. I'm not going to lie this woman is beautiful and is a few years older then me but she is gorgeous and so much prettier than me.
"Why Tobias?" I say wiping my tears
"It just happened and I'm sorry for not stopping her but it will never and I promise you will never happen again. I love you and our son and I'm so sorry for hurting you" he says bending to my level and holding my hands.
"Why wasn't I good enough for you" I say
"You are good enough. You are more then enough. You are everything-..." he says but I interrupt him.
"If I was your everything you wouldn't have cheated on me" I say turning his hand over and putting my wedding ring in it.
I stand to my feet and grab a bag from the closet. I go to my closet and put my clothes in it.
"What are you doing" he ask me as I continue to put stuff in my bag.
"I'm leaving. I can't be in the same house as you" I say
"And I'm taking Brian with me" I add
"Tris stop" he says and I stop & look at him with tear filled eyes.
"Stay here with the baby. I'll go" he says
"Just stay here" he says quietly and I drop my bag and walk out of the room slamming the door behind me forgetting that I could possibly wake up Brian. Good thing he didn't wake up because I was in the kitchen chugging down a bottle of wine.
What a life I have.
