We were reluctant, but we stopped. We had issues other than declaring our love in physical ways. The fact that I purposely instructed Jeremy to malfunction and attack the police. Which, actually, worked pretty well. When I turned around to see our future captors, I only saw limp bodies, but two were not. Jeremy...and Jonathan.

Jeremy was just holding him, not moving, only holding his up by the shirt. Jonathan's face was brimming with terror, his eyes full of tears as he was pleading for his life.

"Please, please, I didn't want to do it, I had to, they were going to kill me if I didn't, please, let me go! I'll never bother you again, I'll even leave the country, just let me go!" He begged to Jeremy.

After a long silence, Jeremy's monotone voice rang out rather loudly, "I am unsure why you plead to desperately for me to spare your life, there are many fates worse than death." He paused, "Especially after messing with those who wish you dead."

"Please, I don't want to die. I'll take anything, just not death!" Jonathan kept going. "I guess you androids don't understand the desire for life! But I know you aren't alive! So you can't personally want me dead! No one wants me dead, so you don't have to do this!" He exclaimed.

Jeremy's grip released just a bit, "You do not understand, I have as much of a desire to be alive as you do." He released just enough for Jonathan's feet to touch the ground. "However, I do not get my desire," He lifted him up once again, as if he was having an internal struggle on what to do with the horrified male in his grasp, "So why should dirty scams like you get it?" he slammed him to the ground, Jonathan's head bursting with blood.

He was dead.

"Are you in the condition to exit the premises, Christopher? I wish to erase this from my databases." Jeremy's head was tilted towards the ground, just staring at Jonathan's dead body.

"I'm good buddy." Chris teased. "Let's go home."

Chris stood, picking me up and placing me in my wheelchair. Mack was almost cowering behind it, as if she was a frightened child. She was just crouching behind it, staring wide eyed at Jeremy, completely ignoring the fact that I was in the wheelchair, she finally spoke.

"H-how could you do that?" Mack stammered.

"Do what?" Jeremy questioned while gratefully taking his glasses back. He put them on, fixed his shirt, and took the wheelchair from Mack's shaking grasp. "I believe our destination is your house once again?"

"Yeah, my cop car is still here." Chris answered for me.

"Those humans..." Mack stayed put, "You just...murdered them effortlessly..."

"I wouldn't say it was without effort, they did put up quite a fight." He stated blatantly.

"How could you just kill them without any second thought!?" She objected. Her voice was full of hatred towards the calm android. "You just executed those men and women! They had families! They had lives! And you took them!" Jeremy remained collected as Mack went on lecturing him. "Do you even understand life? How that works? But are you just the mindless robot I know you are, and you'll just keep feeling nothing!?"

The last line was what set him off, "I'm NOT just a mindless robot! I never asked to be made this way! I never asked to be made at all! I'm nowhere near anything else even slightly related to what I am, and even those other things could never get nearly as close to feeling as I am. Sure, I can't understand the feeling of love, or regret, or guilt, pr things like that, but I am NOT just a chunk of metal! I want to be alive! I've wanted to be human, and normal ever since I started to think on my own! But that's not something I can ever accomplish no matter what I want. It's not like I don't try to feel, it's that I can't. SO I'D REALLY LIKE IT IF YOU STOPPED WITH THE INSULTS!" He ended on a shout.

"You killed those people, and you can't feel a single ounce of regret." Mack continued, despite Chris and my silence.

"I'M TRYING MY BEST YOU ALIEN!" He snapped. His artificial face was filled with sadness and longing, I knew he had some humanity in him, but Mack was trying to deny him that bit. Jeremy looked at the ground before he spoke again, "Let's go home."

With that, we left in silence.
