Andreas's POV
*A week later*
I walk in the house after work and Abell is on the couch smoking his disgusting cigarettes and drinking his life away.
"Hey, Andréas. You talk to your pretty little friend?" Abell asked.
"No. And I didn't f****** appreciate what you did. That was not your place to tell her that!" I said angrily.
"Well I just hate to see her being lied to-"
"No!" I had to calm myself down, "you just like to piss me off. I didn't come home to argue like a child with you. I'm done with that...Abell, we know that you stole Cecelia's wallet and spent money from her savings. We have the proof." I said.
"Who the hell is "we"?" He asked. I shrugged then opened the door and two cops that I had waiting outside walked in.
"Andréas, what the hell did you do?" Abell looked at me.
"I did my time for my actions...now it's your turn."
"Abell Cervantes you are arrested for the robbery of Cecelia Garcia, the iiegal use and possssion of drugs and domestic violence against Aubrey Miller and your two sons. You have the right to remain silent. If you do say anything, it can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have a lawyer present during any questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you if you so desire." The cops stated as they handcuffed him.
"You have no evidence of abuse, the money or-"
"We can trace where the money has been spent- we have the receipts found in the trash- I'm a victim of your abuse, and..." I pointed to the stash of weed and cocaine the cops just found in his room. Abell silently cursed to himself as they led him out the door. Then he suddenly stopped and looked back at me.
"You really gonna let me go like this, huh?" He asked me.
"I guess so."
"You won't be anything when I'm gone. You'll be miserable without me." He said.
"You were never there for me. And I've come to realize that I never needed you." I said and he huffed then disappeared outside. The last cop in the house stared at me with a look I couldn't read.
"You be strong, young man." He said.
"Thank you." I said. He nodded and closed the door behind him. I felt a relief come over me now that he was gone but I felt heartbreak when my mind lingered back to Le'annaMarie. She is never gonna want to speak to me again and I just need to accept it. Though it's best to, it does hurt.

*May 2016*
Graduation is approaching in about a week. I've been so busy with school and work, I'm just now noticing how quick the year has gone by. I avoid Le'annaMarie in the hallways because she obviously doesn't want to see me and we both secretly agreed not to speak to each other in class. It made me feel horrible that she judged me right off the bat without letting me explain myself. I heard from Ortiz- who heard from Haley- that Le'annaMarie has a demo. He said it was amazing and that she is going to perform one of her songs from it at the assembly on the last week of school.
The only reason I'll be at that assembly is because of her. It's crazy how I feel betrayed by her, but I still want to be around her. I guess this is what it's like to be in love.
I called Cecelia today to see how everything is doing with her theft situation. She says she got the money back and that they are doing fine financially. She explained that though she is hurt by what her brother did to her, she forgives him and she wishes he didn't have to be locked up. I told her what I believe- it's for his own good. I know this is will be a learned lesson...it sure was for me.
