Don't let yourself become so angry that you stop loving, because one day, you'll wake up from that anger and the person you love will be gone.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What happened?" his deep voice rung out once more.

His eyes squeezed very tightly shut, and stretched, a few of his muscles clicking as he did so. I didn't even need to wait until he opened his eyes to realize...

"Mark..." I greet slowly, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you,"

His chocolate brown eyes finally swung open, and in that one instant, I seemed to finally realize how tanned his skin now was. In one sharp motion, he sat up. At this point, this could go two very different ways. Either he only remembers his life before Darkiplier took over, or he has been continuous throughout his imprisonment inside his own body.

"Is this... real?" he questions, which gave no evidence for either of the plausible theories.

"I'm not sure my answer will solidify anything in your mind,"

He nods slowly in response, and took the time to gaze around the room, leaving a rather long silence. Even once he had finished observing, no words or sounds were exchanged for about a minute. "Do you mind if I ask you one question?" I query, and he seems to have no objection, so I continue, "Do you know what is going on?"

"Partially... I know that Dark took over my body and suppressed my soul, so I helplessly watched every action he made from within a pitch black void. However, I don't know how I've now taken back control,"

I was relieved I wouldn't have to explain everything then, but disappointed he didn't have a better understanding of his sudden appearance, or at least not better than mine.

The doors to the bedroom swung open, and my eyes were greeted by the sight of Anti.

"Here you two are!" he exclaims, storming over to us, "Since I teleported here a minute or so after you, Dark, I had to spend about fifty minutes just trying to hunt you all dow-" he froze in his tracks, his nose twitching slightly as he trailed his eyes up and down the sight of Mark, obviously now noticing he was not speaking with Dark, as he had thought, "Mark?"

"Antisepticeye," Mark nodded in response, as a greeting.

"How did you... get here?" Anti rather perfectly worded what I was wondering.

Mark let out a sigh, "The last thing I remember is a large gold light..." he trailed his gaze up to meet both of ours, "I think (Y/n)'s soul has now been completely removed from her body and into mine,"

"(Y/n)..." I mutter,

"Wait... where is sh-" but Anti's sentence was swiftly cut of by the loud sound of thunder off in the distance. I hastily darted to the balcony windows, pulling down on the handles and swinging them open, to see large lightning bolts seering down towards... the theatre. Anti and Mark quickly followed after me. "Anti, stay here and make sure Mark stays put!" No one can see the King as... not the King! There are enough riots by the HHO for us to then worry about demon uprisings!

Anti POV

And PewDIE teleported, without another word. As soon as he did, the thunder seemed to have stopped. Mark and I were simply staring out from the balcony, towards the city, feeling unbelievably helpless. However, Mark then decided to break the perfectly comfortable silence that could have very well have stayed.

"What happened to civilisation? How did you go from out skyscrapers and motorways into... the mid 17's? It's as though we're in a very depressing version of Beauty and the Beast..."
