Dark POV

"Sorry..." I bluntly state, finally calming down and beginning to feel awful about taking my Kitten from the only place she wanted to be. She was busy staring out the window.

"For what, taking me away from my childhood home, or giving me the personality to demand you take me back to the palace right now?" her tone was furious, and smoke was now emitting from her.

"You want to go back to the castle? But the business trip-"

She wiped her head around, revealing her glowing gold eyes, "WELL WE WOULDN'T BE IN THIS SITUATION IF YOU JUST LEARNED TO CONTROL YOUR TEMPER!"

I contemplated this for a moment. No doubt she was right, but was I prepared to take her home? The old woman's home being my Kitten's old house only furthers my suspicions that this is all part of something bigger that may put us all in danger... However, there is always the possibility that my anger could be blinding me to convince myself into believing this.

I take her hand in mine and squeeze my eyes shut, opening them again to see she was no longer by my side. She'll be sat on the bed in our palace now.

PewDIE POV

My eyes grew several thousand sizes when I see (Y/n), unaccompanied and beginning to leave through the front doors of the palace. "(Y/N)?" I call after her, and she cringes up her body, freezing as she began to exit, "Where are you going? Where are the others?"

"The others are still in Grablend, I managed to get Dark to send me back... and I was planning to go on a walk," she sighs, knowing I won't buy that lie. No doubt she was planning on running again.

"Let me accompany you. On the way, you can explain everything in more detail,"

Reluctantly, I got her to agree, and we took a stroll through the woods for at least an hour. (Y/n) spoke of what happened.

"I see..." I comment, stepping over a twig as she finished the story on how we met once again. "I wonder who that woman was... Perhaps I should go back and ask more questions,"

"That would be useful," was all she replied with. Her cape kept getting stuck in the torns.

"But... you do realize, that since Dark and you are far away from one another, you're going to get incredibly ill,"

"He'll come back before it really becomes a problem,"

We made it to a clearing and (Y/n) froze, looking around. I paused by her and watched to see what she was planning on doing. Gently, she got down on one knee and pushed back her cape, moving her hand down and placing it on the surface of the forest ground. When she pulled it back up again, she had a black band clasped in her palm.

"What is that?" I inquire. She got back to her feet, keeping her eyes locked with the object in her clasp. Her bewitchment with the thing must have prevented her from hearing my question. Suddenly, she drew back her hand, preparing herself to thrown the thing, in her palm, as far as she possibly could... but she hesitated. With her poise the same, she simply stood there, mentally arguing with herself.

With a sigh, her arm went limp and swung to her side, her eyes squeezed shut as she slipped the black band into her pocket, flashing the word "Kitten" at me: that's when I realized it was her collar.

She turned back to me, scowling as if someone had offended her to an ultimate degree, "Let's return back to the palace. This place is haunting..."

We returned to the castle, and I begrudgingly allowed (Y/n) to return to her bedroom. No doubt she had something planned, but considering such hapless circumstances, I must allow her to do as she pleases. The King and Anti should return in a few days, what could possibly happened within that time?
