"Hi doc! Hows the result?" She greeted nervously.
"Hello Ms. Mendoza! Take a seat!" She smiled.
"Ms. Mendoza, I have a bad news..." she started.
"The tumor that's inside your brain has become bigger and this may affect nearly everything, In short. You might die any time now" she said holding my hand.
"Pero doc may solusyon pa naman po diba???" Hoping for a yes.
"Im sorry to say, nothing else. If we do an operation, it might risk your life because the size of the tumor isn't just as normal as the others. Your life is at risk, so If I were you. Spend your time to your family as long as you can :)" Im trying to be strong.
"Thank you doc! I need to go" I took the result and wiped a tear. I stood up and went outside.

MAINE POV.
"Thirdy! How many times do I have to tell you, I can't choose your dad" trying to explain to my son.
"But mom? Why" in tears.
"Im sorry Baby, but I really can't" I hugged him while he continued sobbing.
Then followed by a horn of a deriving car.
"Oh! There's daddy na. Go" he wiped a tear and went directly inside the car.
"Anong nangyari dun?" Alden then asked me next.
"Nagtatampo ehh" he just nodded.
"Ako bahala" he uttered before he went inside the car.
Ito na nga ba kinatatakutan ko ehh...
ALDEN POV.
"Baby? Are you ok?" He's still silent.
"Baby, please talk to daddy"
He turned his side to me and started talking.
"Why didn't mommy choose you? Why?"
"Baby, kasi you know. Daddy made a big mistake long time ago, and that made mommy felt a little bit mad to me." I explained trying to make it understandable.
"What did you do wrong daddy?"
"It's not the right time for you to know right now" and he again became silent.
"Im sorry daddy!"
"Don't say sorry to daddy, say sorry to mommy!" He nodded and his cheerful smile came once again.
Right exactly when my phone started ringing.
"Hello?"
"Alden!"
"Nay bakit po?" My heart pounding fast.
"Nandito kami sa ospital ngayon! Si Maine hinimatay kanina!" O_o
"Huh! Bakit naman po!"
"Pumunta ka na lang dito! Meron ka dapat malaman!"
"Anong hospital po ba?"

"Ok sige po on the way na!"
I ended the call and took a quick U-turn.
"Daddy who's that?"
"Mommy's in the hospital! We need to hurry!" Why did she even passed out? And what do I need to know?
