Riley got in her car and began to drive. She decided she needed something to do while Alex was practicing with the guys. She enrolled herself in a photography class. It was about time she did something, she thought, all she ever did was sit around alone or with Alex. In search of a life, she decided to do something she had always loved; photography.
She parked her car in the parking lot across from the small brick building. Before she closed the door and got out, she reached across the seat to grab her camera. After, she began her walk across the street and into the class. She must've been early because the class hadn't started yet.
"Ahh, you must be Riley." The man in front of the room smiled. He was a sketchy looking guy... he was a giant. He had to be at least 6' 4". He had a scruffy beard to match his wild brown hair.
"Yeah, that's me." She sniffed, looking around.
"You can find any open seat you want and that will be your permanent spot for this course."
She turned around to find a spot only to see one open seat at all. She rolled her eyes and made her way to the way back of the class room. Sitting down, she threw her camera on top of the desk. Realizing she had someone sitting next to her she turned and smiled, extending her hand.
"Hi, I'm Riley Ranson." She said to the girl next to her.
"My name's Gaelle Kingsford." The brunette told, showing an accent.
"Woah, cool accent. Where are you from?" Riley asked.
"Australia." Gaelle answered.
"That's so cool!" Riley exasperated. She had always had a fascination for accents.
"Everyone settle down, the class is starting." The teacher spoke up and the room became hushed. "My name is Mr. Peterson and I will be your teacher in this photography course. You might want to introduce yourselves to the person next to you because they will be your partner in this adventure. Go on, say hello."
Riley and Gaelle smiled at each other. Riley wasn't to happy with this selection. She had no problems with this girl at all. She seemed really sweet but the thing was; Riley was the jealous type. She knew that Gaelle would have to come over her house some times to work on projects and Alex would be there. It seemed she still hadn't gotten over what Alex had done because every girl intimidated her. Gaelle was gorgeous; silky brown hair, golden brown eyes, tanned skin, Australian. If Alex was interested then there would be no competition.

"You're first assignment will be to take a photograph of something in the city. You and your partner must take a total of six pictures. It must be done on your own time, class is over." Mr. Peterson assigned.
"Well," Riley started. "do you want to come back to my house? We can grab something to eat then head out."
"Sure." Gaelle nodded.
"Did you drive here?" Riley asked as they began walking out the doors.
"No, I live three houses down, I walked."
"Ohh...when did you move here from Australia?"
"Only like, four months ago. I came here because my cousin is really sick. She needed someone to stay with her so I volunteered to live with her."
"That's nice of you." Riley spewed the words in jealously as they got into her car and began driving.
"What about you, do you live alone?"
"No, I live with my boyfriend."
"What's his name?"
"Alex."
"You guys are in a serious relationship?"
"Very serious."
"Oh. I haven't met guys here yet that aren't total jerks." Gaelle rolled her eyes.
"Me either." Riley laughed, joking.
