It was early morning I decided to wake up early to talk to Haymitch but to my surprise he beat me to it. "Good morning sweetheart." He whispered while handing me a cup of my favourite tea. "Well good morning to you too." I reply drinking the tea that tasted really good to my surprise. "So Haymitch I was thinking about what you said about me being like the new MockingJay." He looked at me eyes wide open. "You mean you actually want to!" He practically screams which leads me to scold him. "Watch what you say I don't want anyone knowing." He smiled. "Does lover boy know?" I smile Haymitch always knew how to get on my nerves. "Haymitch he doesn't love me anymore he's not lover boy." I say as I feel a pair of strong hands wrap around my waist. "And who says I don't love you anymore." I jerk by the sudden paralyzing touch and giggle as he starts to tickle me. "You did the night before the victory tour." I mumble as he lets me go. "And I told you I did love you and came to your store after my heart told me where to go. So are you sure that your the one who doesn't love me?" I freeze not knowing how I feel but then 5 words slip out of my mouth that I never thought I would say ever again. "Finnick I do love you." He eyes widened and so do mine and before I knew it his lips were on mine. Oh god did I miss those soft warm lips I've only kissed Finnick once but I had to say this was truly heaven. "All right lovebirds." Haymitch says laughing and Finnick and I as well. "So you do love me I knew it!" He laughs. "Don't get cocky." I reminded him. "So what were you gonna tell me lover girl." I laugh but I'm afraid to tell him I look at Haymitch and he nods at me so I decide it's the right thing to do. "I've decided to become the new MockingJay and become the leader of the new rebellion for Jay." He goes pale. "Prim you can't! I just got you back I can't lose you I love you too much." He says while pulling me into a hug. "Finnick I have to do this it's not just for Jay it's for me to and the rest of Panem. I want to end all of this I want peace again all of this has affected my life so horribly I just need to end it once and for all!" I scream and cry into his chest listening to his steady heartbeat to calm me down not caring if I woke anyone up. "Then I'm coming with you. We're in this together." I suddenly feel a rush of fear I couldn't lose him I just got him back now I understood what he must be going through. "Finnick no! Your mother needs you. I need you to say alive so I can come back to you when all of this is over." I say hugging him close. "Prim I can't stay away I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you were out there alone so please let me come with you." He pleaded until I realized he wasn't going to take no for an answer. "All right you can come but please don't tell anyone yet. I'm not ready to upset my
Parents." He nodded and planted a kiss on my forehead. A couple of weeks went on and Haymitch all ready set up the plans we were leaving in to days to district 13. Today was the day we told our parents about the long and grousome journey we would have to over come to bring peace back to Panem and I knew we couldn't do it alone. I called Gale up and he happily volunteered to help out. Haymitch had all ready gathered up some people to help as well. Beetee, Cressida, a couple of avoxes, and none other but Effie Trinket herself. I can't imagine the reaction that my parents will give to my decision but I hope they will understand it's the right one and this will all bring peace to Panem or so I hope.
