"Go put your quail in the prey pile and rest" Nightshade meowed to her apprentice I was about to go a talk with Rockstar when Nightshade came up to me "mind asking Rockstar if we can make Skyepaw and Featherpaw warriors, they've earned it" Nightshade asked, I nodded and walked over to the back of the camp where the leaders den was, hidden by a giant walk sunhigh already?!? I thought days only do this fast in leaf bare... I shrugged it off as I went into the leaders den, Fernflower, our medicine cat was next to Rockstar who laid on his side "did he collapse again?" I asked Fernflower nodded, "can't you do anything to help?" I pleaded to the young she cat, "this is his last life."
"Do you think I don't know that!" Fernflower snapped making me jump in suprise, she's usually calmer than this. "I've tried everything!" She must of noticed that she was losing patience and quickly settled down, giving her chest a few embarrassed licks, "Cinderash, I think it's time to realize that he has something I can't cure and he may be to old to fight it off" she admitted looking down at her paws, I felt bad for the poor she cat she hates losing a patient. "I'm fine" Rockstar said trying to stand up but he let out a yowl of pain and layer back down now up right, "Rockstar-" Fernflower started gently but he cur her of, "if ...this is how it ends then I want to at least the make Skyepaw and Featherpaw warriors" I said "fine" Fernflower agreed, sighing "but after you do that you rest" she pushed, Rockstar nodded and started to stand up wincing in pain a bit, I quickly went to his side and allowed him to lean on me.
When we got out there he sat down and called the meeting "may all cats of Vallyclan gather for a clan meeting" he yowled. Once everyone was here he silenced there curious whispering with a flick of the tail "Skyepaw and Featherpaw" he started, the two apprentices came up to him looking frightened "what did we do?" Skyepaw asked, "it was all Skyepaw i wasn't the one to give Snaketail and Silverfog the wet moss" Featherpaw yowled. "Snitch!" Skyepaw said to her sister "so it was you!" Silverfog hissed "I've been trying to figure out witch one of you youngn's were pranking us!" "Youngn's these days don't know how to respect there elders." Snaketail agreed. Rockstar let out a marrow of amusement at the apprentices mischief "now" he continued, "I, Rockstar of Vallyclan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon these two apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I command them as warriors in return." Skyepaw and Featherpaw stared at there leader in astonishment "Featherpaw" he began "do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do!" Featherpaw said trying to hide her excitement. "Then by the power of Starclan, I give you your warrior name, from this moment on you shall be known as Featherfrost, may Starclan light your path" he finished bowing "Skyepaw" he started "do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan at the cost of your life?" "I do" Skyepaw replied "then from this moment on you shall be known as Skyewatcher, my Starclan light your path."
The rest of Vallyclan cheered "Featherfrost, Skyewatcher!" The two new warriors puffed up in pride from the praise. At that moment I remembered I wanted to ask Rocckstar and Fernflower about the sudden change "you need to speak to me?" Fernflower asked making me jump in surprise "how did you-" "I know things" Fernflower said cutting me off come on "Rockstar went back to his den lets not wake him come to the medicine den" she said sometimes she scares me. "Now don't be rude Cinderash" who what where when......and why?!?
Once we were in the medicine den and sat down I started "haven't you noticed how preys fattening up and the days are starting to go by quicker?" I asked her, she nodded "it does seem strange, but we can't be sure until Starclan gives us a sign" "your right." I agreed "maybe I'm overreacting" I admitted.
