Where back revamped I've been up since 6:00 am just writing and I'm really tired! Yeah but I'm doing it for you guys not to mention I really want to get this part over with I'm pretty proud of the hints I've been giving in this anyway it may be sloppy because I really want to get this part of the story over with so anyway onto the story!
Phoenixhearts POV
"Please be careful" Timber said worriedly "I will" Skye said playfully giving her mate a playful fick on the ear "you worry to much" "okay" said Timber still sounding worried but going over to Thimble to say goodbye to his brother. "Don't make me have to save you" I said teasingly to Skye "ha ha" she replied "like when we were kits" she teased back. "That was one time!" I said "you always have to bring that up." "Anyway I have to go" Skye said "there waiting for me." "Okay bye" I said "don't fall into the river again" she said and than ran over to the group before I could reply. I hate her. She's only teasing! "When am I going to see mama" Falon asked interrupting my thoughts "soon" I promised the kit "how long have you been away from her?"
"Along time"
"How did you get separated from her"
"A rock slide."
"Oh."
It didn't take long time for the cats to lure the mountain lion here "she's here she's here!" Thimble said running into the tribe camp. Oh course almost as soon as he said that the mountain lion came in with the other cat except for Skye. Where's Skye? I thought she's probably making sure the mountain lion doesn't escape "Stop wait!" I quickly said standing in front of the mountain lion it was...a lot bigger than I expected "What!" It demanded "Mom!" Falon said running up to the mountain lion "Falon!" The mountain lion said running up the him. "Please don't hurt them there my friends" Falon stated "they brought me to you." "Fine" the mountain lion said her voice less hostile yet she looked uncertain. "You brought my son back to me" she said looking at all the cats gathered "I shall spare your lives for now" she said "who are you?" Frogpaw asked shaking "I am Cur" was the last thing she said before taking Falon by the scruff and walking out of the entrance that she was barely able to get out of. After that there was silence for a few moments before Timber finally spoke up to Thimble "where's Skye?" Thimble starred at him with grief stricken eyes "I'm sorry Hawks attacked us when we were trying to lure it out, she saved Hawks life."
"But where is she now?"
"Timber I'm sorry they got her"
"What no!"
"I'm sorry she's dead."
"N-no your lying" Timber said shocked "I'm sorry" Hawk said coming up to Timber "I tried my best to save her" "she's expecting my kits!" He said still denying his mates death gasps of horror came from the gathered cats I couldn't say anything I just couldn't my best friend had died and she was expecting kits! It's your fault you should've done something. Shut up! Wow I never thought you'd be angry just shut up!
That night we held a vigil for Skye and her kits "I'm sorry" Frogpaw said to me after all the time he's ignored me all this time "I know she was you best friend." "Thanks" I muttered though I didn't want to talk.
Well guys that's it I promise that there won't be any death for awhile after that and I'm glad that this part of the story is over cause I'm ready to start getting into the big part of the story I think I'm about almost half way done with this book maybe not sure how many chapters it will take anyway I'll see you guys later Bye guys! :3
