Everyone froze. Not literally, thank goodness, but they might as well have. Ash looked around in panic. Gameknight grabbed his sword and passed it from hand to hand staring nervously into the forest. Hunter face palmed and moaned in annoyance and Herder looked ready to run after Alex, a look of sarrow on his face. Ash pulled DiamondCat over for behind a tree.

"Well fudge. Now what are we gonna do? Boss is gonna kill us, now we can't heal her! What was she thinking?!" Ash whispered angrily. Diamond shook her head.

"Ash, come on! She obviously didn't want to hurt anyone, everyone in this game is to caring and sacrificial, which I kinda think Earth could learn from." She grumbled.

"One problem at a time please?" Ash snapped.

"Oh, sorry!"

"Gerr.. We can't just bring her back all willy nilly. The virus could kill people and spread, you don't know what will happen. OK, I'm gonna distract these people and you go find her. I'll also get supplies for healing her and stuff blah blah blah." Ash said.

Diamond nodded, her eyes now glowing green with x-ray vision. She jumped into the air and was about to take off when Ash added:

"Also, watch out for the hacker guy. He might still be on our tail. Err, sorry bad pun." And with that, Diamond disappeared into the night, still holding a forgotten cookie.

...

The person watched from a distance, a hidden icon hiding the glowing server thread. His character stared at the village in the distance and then to the fire at the base of the mountain. He saw another player fly into the air and disappear, but lacking a server thread. He smiled.

"Oh, how its fun to play with time. You better watch your back Gameknight, you have more than me to worry about. But you'll have other problems soon enough." He laughed and faded to the background, disappearing from sight.

...

Diamond flew through the air, peering through tress and caverns, looking for a figure. She saw some movement in the nearby forest and flew closer, keeping a far enough distance.

"Alex. Hullllllo Aleeeeeeex." She whispered. "I have a cookie!"

She heard a crunch of leaves behind her and "accidentally" shoved the cookie in her mouth. Oops. DiamondCats' cat ears perked up at the noise and she spun around to find a claw rushing towards her face.

"Ee!" She yelped, throwing up her hands in defense. An uncomfortable heating feeling surrounded her and the figure's claws hit her arm- but Diamond felt nothing as the figure flew back and smashed through a tree, a painful crack echoing through the air.

Diamond lowered her arms and looked down at her necklace, which was glowing a soft red, rainbow slicing through the cravings and design. She gasped and have a skittish happy dance.

"Yes, yes, yes! Finally! My powers are working!" She giggled with excitement and felt her feet lift off the ground for a moment before slowly going back down. She gasped.

"I didn't have to hack to do that! I can't wait to tell-" a snarl interrupted her talking to her self. She looked at the figure and gasped.

"Wow Alex, I think you've had better days." She responded. The creature snarled. Diamond sighed. "I really don't want to, but we gotta get you back."

DiamondCat pulled out an object that was... Odd. It didn't fit in with the Minecraft texture, it looked roundwith a sharp, metal tip, strange liquid inside. She chucked it through the air and it snake into the rising creatures arm, causing it to collapse. Diamond wiped a tear from her eye. She felt extremely guilty about it.

Sorry Alex, but it's the only way to help. And with that, she grabbed the zombie by the arm and teleported away.

This is short, but want you gonna do.
